Happy Thanksgiving 2018

We will have a quiet day reflecting on thoses things we are thankful for; each other, family, friends, a home that is warm and comfortable and food on our table.  I wish all those blessings for you as well.

Happy Thanksgiving 2018

This monsterous Pileated Woodpecker had quite a feast at our feeders…his feast came one day before our Thanksgiving.

Happy Thanksgiving to you guys!!! Quiet here too except for me screaming support for "Da Bears"! LOL! Don't forget the parade this morning too! Santa will be there!
Hugs ~ Sam
P.S. I know it is rough when there is someone missing at or under the table....know you are in my thoughts and prayers for the holidays.

That Woodpecker could make a block of suet disappear pretty fast I imagine.

I would be over the moon if one of those amazing Pileated Woodpeckers, which do make themselves known in the trees around our house, would come to my suet feeder. You are so lucky! We were given an assignment at church last week -- list 100 things you are thankful for. Your blog posts are one of them.

Another Thanksgiving with so much to be thankful for. We had a quiet day, as well. Sometimes, it's those quiet ones which mean the most...
