Carvings

I did some painting for Far Guy’s woodcarvings.  We have some other ones in progress.

Desert Rose

This is a finished Desert Rose, the base is some hard as heck wood from California.   Getting the colors just right…how Far Guy saw them was a challenge.

before

I painted some of my bark houses that have been finished and floating around in my carving bag all summer and fall.

after

I finished the Christmas Cards…I will show photos closer to Christmas.  I am boxing up all the 2018 Woodcarved Ornaments and getting them ready to deliver and or mail.

Not sure what I will work on next. I have some unfinished projects hanging around here perhaps I will tackle them one at a time.

Far Guy is still struggling, his cough is worse today and he is visibly ill.  Sure hope he turns the corner soon.

  1. The carvings are incredible. However the fact that FG is worse is troubling. I have my fingers and toes crossed that he starts to feel better soon.

  7. The rose is beautiful and I love your little bark houses. I’ve been finishing up half done projects around here this week too. I’m hoping to start a sweater today for Dennis as a Christmas present.
But, the troubling part of your post is about Far Guy. I’m so sorry he still sick. Maybe he needs to see someone else today? Those coughs are nasty this year. I’m praying for him.
    Blessings, Betsy
