The lake

Jen our youngest daughter is here for Father’s Day.  We went out for an early supper and to Wally World to get water for the elderly (us)  those water packages are heavy…now we are stocked up again.

Blue Heron

We went down to the lake.

Turtle and a Dragonfly

Jen took some photos with my camera…she stalked this turtle for a long time.

Chance is happy she is here and keeps leading her to the treat drawer…he knows she is an easy mark. We are happy she is here too!

  1. Pretty shots at the lake, especially the great blue posing on the log. Nice your daughter could be with you for Father's Day. I'm sure Chance is enjoying the extra treats!

  10. That is a great turtle picture. I’m so happy for you that Jen is able to be there for Father’s Day weekend and also to help you out getting water. It’s funny how these things go full circle isn’t it? We used to be the ones getting them water and doing things for them.
We won’t have any children here this weekend but two of ours will be here next weekend. We haven’t seen either one of them in over nine months so we’re pretty excited. The fact that three grandchildren are coming along makes it even better!
    Many blessings, Betsy

  11. I'm glad Jen is home with you too. Isn't it fun to have a daughter come visit. I haven't mentioned it to anyone yet, but my daughter Andee and her husband are moving back to North Carolina and I am tickled to death. We will be one hour apart again. I like Jen's pictures from the lake.

  14. Happy Father's Day to Far Guy! I'm sure you'll have a great visit with your daughter. Our oldest daughter and our youngest son took their Dad out for breakfast this morning ( avoiding any crowds tomorrow).
