Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving

I heard that 46 million turkeys would be cooked this Thanksgiving!  That is a lot of turkeys!

Today I am thankful that I don’t have to cook the turkey and I am thankful that we will be able to spend part of the day with our daughters and their families.

It's always twice as enjoyable to eat a turkey you didn't have to cook! HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Wow, that's a LOT of turkeys. I am glad we are having a salmon dinner. That's one less turkey to cook. :-)

Happy Thanksgiving to you, Far Guy, Chance and all your families. No turkey here, a couple of Cornish Game Hens instead.

It's suppertime here so your Thanksgiving meal is no doubt long over. I hope you had a happy one.

Have not roasted a turkey in many years. This year I volunteered; thought it would make the house smell great for a while; and it was easier that some of the other things that I have done over the years; like my brother said, just put in the over and wait. Happy Thanksgiving!

Auntie Reg made a turkey from rice crispy treats. It was hilarious...and actually looked pretty close to a turkey. It was stuffed with chocolate pieces and assorted small candies.

I cooked the usual just for myself and thoroughly enjoyed it. Glad you got together with your family...I know you had a wonderful Thanksgiving especially with a nap thrown in! I still can't do naps...not yet anyway but I have found myself 'dozing' off in my chair while knitting or reading....I'm sure that's just the beginning!
