Menahga Gardens

When were were touring the city of Menahga for garage sales we ran into the Menahga Memorial Gardens est 1992.  I had never noticed these gardens before and I think they merit another look see in about a month!

Here is a look at the flowering trees, not much else is blooming there…well some dandylions.

Beautiful flowering trees!

Menahga has a summer concert series called Sounds of Spirit Lake.  It is a series of free concerts on the shores of Spirit Lake. We attended a few last summer and we hope to go again this year.  Outdoor events are good for us to attend, we can move our lawn chairs around where ever we want…away from the pefume.

Please do go back when it's a little later in the season. I love those pretty flowers, though. That last picture is a keeper! :-)

The trees are lovely. There are summer concerts in our area, that we never seem to get to....but should!

I am loving the flowering trees this year. I don't know why they stand out more now than they have in the past.

A great find! You'll have to go back in a month and share your photos of what's blooming.

Don't get me started on the "too much perfume" issue. Some people seem to be unaware of just how much they apply!

A lot of the trees and shrubs are he first blooms we get. My first blooms are the Nanking cherries.

I've been up to that area once in the spring, wish I had known about these gardens to check it out.

Our apple and cherry blossoms are long gone, so it is lovely to see yours.

Wow! Beautiful blooms! Does that type of smell bother Far Guy or just artificial chemical smells?
