Maddie asked me to come up and take some photos. The occasion was The Winter Formal.
We took some photos inside but I liked the outside ones the best. It was a fun session..even if the temperatures were subzero. Maddie said she was going to freeze to death…I said it would take quite a while to freeze solid.
Maddie has always been my photogenic grandchild..she rarely takes a bad photo. The camera loves her. I do too.
It seems like she should spend a Saturday night making popcorn and cutting up apples with me and going to bed at 7:30 instead of going out on a DATE.
I had a blast and I think we got some excellent shots..thanks Maddie for asking your old Granny to take photos
Beautiful photos. Beautiful granddaughter.
ReplyDeleteOh such beautiful pictures you took. She is really pretty and your right, the camera loves her, Blessings Francine.
ReplyDeleteAnd who is the young man? Shirley H.
ReplyDeleteMaddie's beau:)
DeleteYou are right: the outdoor photos are magnificent. I love the first and the last one the most. What different feelings with B&W and color. Both are really good! :-)
ReplyDeleteShe looks beautiful and how very special to ask you to take these great photos. I love the outdoors as the backdrop!
ReplyDeleteFantastic photos ! Very pretty young lady . Thanks for sharing . Have a great day !
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful! I think it's wonderful that she asked you to come and take photos, and what a great job you did:)
ReplyDeleteHey, you did well with these photos. You can have a very beautiful grand daughter as a subject but you still have to have the talent to show the subject.
ReplyDeleteThe gown is beautiful, even more-so with Maddie modeling it! You are right. If it is going to be a winter formal, pictures must include snow! Especially with the red color!
ReplyDeleteAll of the photos are wonderful, but the first one is fabulous. She's a natural. And the goosebumps don't show at all!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos and the couple look fabulous! Winter Formals sounds so fun :)
ReplyDeleteIt was so great that she wanted you to do that. I think she wanted her grandma see her all dressed up in her red dress and also see her guy who is taking her to the formal ball. Snow is a given when you have a winter formal dance.
ReplyDeleteThe photos are beautiful and so is your granddaughter.
ReplyDeleteWow - what a fabulous dress and lovely young lady and man!
ReplyDeleteOh she is beeeutiful. And yes, you have taken some amazing shots of her, and her beau. What a great treasure to have when she is all grown up.
ReplyDeleteJen
The camera does indeed love Maddie: wonderful photos with AND without color.
ReplyDeleteShe is so very beautiful! I really like the first pic with her expression and stance but LOVE the last one with the colors. She and he color-coordinated and the design on the dress is so festive. Thanks for sharing such a joyous time with us, too.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! I agree, Thanks for sharing the joy!
ReplyDeleteMaddie is beautiful! Granddaughters are special. They just grow up too fast!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos! She was brave to pose outside but the pix are well worth it!
ReplyDeleteSub-zero?!?! Yes, she was going to freeze.
ReplyDeleteBut what lovely photos.Something she'll cherish for decades. Her grandchildren will enjoy hearing the story...
Wonderful photos! But brrrrr!
