The little girls

Maddie visited the other day with the children.   Everyone is growing up!

Sisters

Ree is really growing.

She has six teeth now and is getting a few more teeth.  Her Mom called her Miss Crabby Pants but she was perfectly fine when she was here.  She has a wonderful giggle and belly laugh that ends in a snort.

Far Guy is holding his own for now.

We have snow in the air but it is not staying on the ground for now, we are in a Winter Storm Watch until Tuesday morning.

Little Valentines

We had belated Valentines here one evening as the Great Grandchildren needed a babysitter or two when their parents went out to a company party.

I had Valentines gifts for them that I bought a few weeks ago. Gotta love the dollar store that is now a dollar twenty five.

Ree was having a bit of stranger danger.  Her Mom calls her Peach.

Cee Cee

Big smiles from Cee Cee and Hey Mikey.

They had a fun night, Cee Cee  ate all her brothers valentine candy and put hers in the fridge for the next time she visits.  They played video games and had snacks.

Great Stuff

The Greats visited here today after daycare/school.  They like pickles...and bananas.  Of course we have fruit snacks on hand all the time and Tootsie Roll Pop suckers for the road.

Ree has her first tooth and has almost conquered sitting up by herself...she still has a round butt.  She is smiley and sometimes happy even though she is teething.

I helped Jen with an art project.  It was Sadie's day at daycare....rumor has it that there are four Goldens there about her age and they keep each other running all day so she is exhausted when she gets home.   It is a day off for Little Elvis.

Far Guy warmed up left overs for supper.

The art project, hopefully I will get a photo of it when it is finished.  Can you guess what it is?

Sitting Up

Ree is learning how to sit up by herself.   Soon she will not be a baby anymore.

She looks so serious....part of the teething process.

She is a well loved child.  She is just a few days shy of seven months old.

Greats

Our Great Grandchildren or "Greats" were here on Monday morning, their school and day care were closed due to the holiday yesterday and their Mommy had to work part of the day.  Thankfully Jen and Andy had the day off.  Andy made them bacon and French toast for breakfast and for lunch hot dogs and mac and cheese.

They can sure liven things up around here.

Hey Mikey snd Cee Cee did a fair amount of goofing off during their photo session with me.

Hey Mikey with Ree...she is working on getting some teeth.  She is very entertained by her siblings.

After they left I had a long nap.

Cutest Baby Ever!

Our Great Granddaughter Ree is such a happy child.  She has found her voice and a big smile.

Ree lights up our lives!

I got to see her twice this week. For Christmas photos one evening and then again the next evening when we were all cleaning at Andy and Jen's rental.

Baptism

Our newest Great Granddaughter  Ree was baptized on Sunday.

Isn't she a beauty!

Maddie and Ree

The family photo.

Ree was happy to be held by her Great Grandpa!

She is immediately calmed by her Great Auntie Jen.

The baptismal gown was made out of my wedding dress and worn by all three of our Great Grandchildren.

Romans 6: 3-4

Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?  We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.

Visit Up North

We took off Up North to meet our newest Great Granddaughter.  She is 15 days old now and still just a little peanut.

We got to cuddle and feed her.  She was visiting her Great Aunt Jen and Great Uncle Andy for the Holiday while her family was off on the lake and to fireworks.  She is an easy keeper.

No babies usually do not smile but it sure looks like it in the photo!   She looks very much like her Mama.

Ree our third Great Grand at 15 days old.

This is the blanket I finished especially for Jen to keep at her house...the $2 yarn blanket!

So much fun to see this beautiful baby.

Great again for the third time!

We are Great Grandparents again!!   So exciting!

Maddie and the sweet babe.  She weighed 7 pounds and was 20 1/2 inches long.

She joins her siblings Hey Mikey and Cee Cee.   That makes three for Maddie and Brenton.

Our son in law Andy the Great Uncle with Karina....who I will most likely call Ree :)

Andy took care of Hey Mikey and Cee Cee throughout the night and got them off to daycare in the morning.  Jen was with Maddie and Brenton at the hospital.

We are so thankful that Ree has arrived safely, she will be well loved and a blessing to our family!
