Fall Flowers

Fall flowers seem to have the best color!

These were Dahlias a few years ago.

We have a busy week this week, many appointments... six possibly more.

I watched the Miss America pageant and Miss New York won.  However the contestants all won at least a three thousand dollar scholarship.

  1. I'm glad they got scholarships at least. It's not cheap to compete in those contests. I hope you have only the best results from your appointments and I am praying for you both.

  2. Those flowers are beautiful! So sorry about all the appointments. We live in a country with good medical available - - even if we have to search it out a bit. However it gets very tiring when the doctors set our social calendar so busy. Guess this means you might get to see Sadie?!

  3. Even the losers were winners.

Praying today for good travels and outcomes for you and FG—today and always. It’s hard to be cheerful as petals fall from flowers,🌹 you are a gardener and understand what’s behind but not knowing what’s coming is difficult. I care.

  6. Congratulations to Miss Minnesota on the scholarship! As I used to tell the contestants in our county fair royalty contest, it is an honor to represent who ever you are representing. And people aren't as invested as you are. They will remember you competed and half will remember you won (even when you didn't).
    Your Dahlia's are gorgeous.

  11. Sorry she didn't win, but at least they all got something for their efforts.
That's a lot of appointments again! Hope they all go well.

  13. Dahlias are my favorite! Yours looked beautiful. Did you have to have to dig up the tubers each year?
