Preschool Milestone

The smile says it all.   Preschool is behind our oldest Great Granddaughter Cee Cee...onward and forward to Kindergarten in the Fall.

What a great graduation cap!

Cee Cee will be a big sister again this Summer before going off to full day Kindergarten in the Fall.

Do you recall...back in the day?  Kindergarten was either mornings or afternoons every day or sometimes on a Full Day M W F one week and T Th the next week it was hard to keep track of.

Congratulations Cee Cee you made it!

  3. Congrats to that sweet girl on heading to kindergarten in the fall. My own girls were at the beginning of the full day kindergarten trend. They went every other day. Luckily I was teaching in the same building (K-12 at the time), so it was very convenient and they came up to my classroom at the end of the day to hang out until we went home.

  4. She is such a joyful cutie-pie! Remember back in the day when we were so excited to grow up and get to the next milestone in life? That is her it appears. We shouldn't have tried to rush through parts of our childhood so quickly and now we can't slow time down.
Hoping your sweet husband is showing some improvement in his health.

  8. I’m surprised at how much they do in kindergarten. It’s more like first grade used to be. I bet Cee Cee will be a star student.

  12. My children were in the "p.m." class. The bus route ran in a circle and before lunch the morning kids were dropped off starting south of town and circling to the west. I fed mine an early lunch and they were the first ones on the bus when it circled to the north.

  13. Here , kindergarten was optional. In middle school you could tell the kids who'd been through kindergarten.
