Still snowing

Yessiree Winter at its finest can be found here in Minnesota!

It was a four count them four stick day for Far Guy yesterday for his weekly infusion.   He is a trooper.

I ran errands whilst he was getting his infusion...groceries, gas  ($3.39 a gallon), post office, library and the printing company for the Christmas stationary I ordered.

It will snow for another day before we are thrust into the deep freeze where it is too cold to snow.  Fun.

  2. We got our first accumulating snow last night. Sigh. Katie would have loved it. Is Far Guy getting immunotherapy? Bruce is starting that the week after Thanksgiving.

  5. We have started a brief warm up here. Almost daily flurries but not much accumulation, but the wind is a'blowing it all around.

  6. The sun is shining here and the snow is coming down along with some nice breezy cold winds.
Opening day here tomorrow with temps at zero and -15 wind chills. I guess I am happy I won't be out in the woods!

    4 sticks. Ouch.
It looks to be a bright and beautiful cold day here.

  7. We had the pleasure of lots of snow two weeks ago. It was a shock after all the nice fall weather.

  10. I am sorry for Far Guy. It's unpleasant even for a trooper. We have about 5' of snow. Yesterday was very windy. It's just cold and overcast today. That is a nice photo.

  11. The deep freeze is in Laramie. It was -7°F this morning when I crawled out of bed, and that was without the windchill. Brrr!

  14. Poor guy. That's too many sticks. Ask me how I know. :-( It was -9F this morning with the wind chill. It's supposed to be 50F in a few days. The weather is crazy this year everywhere.
We paid $3.59 for gas yesterday. It's creeping up again. We've parked the diesel truck except for the week Alex is here. We need the seats then. We just can't keep filling the monster up for everyday driving.
    Blessings and hugs,
    Betsy

  15. You've definitely got us beat!
Parts of our province are supposed to get hammered this weekend, but thankfully, it's a BIG province, and we are in the low snow area. We'll be lucky to get an inch!
