Sadie has long legs...she is growing so fast!
She had been upstairs looking for chips in Adams computer room. She came down part of the way when I called her.
Eventually she came down. This week she decided that she would use the doggie door to let herself out and back in again several times each day. She likes to bring twigs from the Spruce trees inside...and one day she came inside with real muddy paws...most likely a prelude to Spring activities. For several days she played in her water dish and splashed water all over...that activity was curtailed by not filling up the water dish all the way!
This week she is learning to sleep in her kennel in the kitchen...having the radio on at night helps. She still barks to get up to go outside. Soon she will sleep all night long. Previously she had been sleeping in her upstairs kennel in Jen and Andys bedroom. We have gates up so she cannot go to the basement or into the craft room!
She is a work in progress and we will miss her when we go back home for the summer.
She certainly is adorable and yes she sure is growing fast! I love to hear about her. :-)
She sounds like she's coming along really well. Yes, I'm sure you'll miss her a lot when you go back home.
I think you should just borrow Sadie for a weekend! LOL!
I know what you mean, having a pup around is really great.
She is adorable.
She's into that gangly stage, all legs, but still has a baby face. What a cutie!
I'm sure you'll miss her, she's been good company.
She sure is adorable!
So darling! Waiting til summer to go home? I think I'd go mad! I mean, I love-love-love my children too and get along very well with them. But I'm miss my "stuff", my land, my privacy, my world! At the first sign of snow being gone, I'd say "Thank you" and run back home. ~Andrea xoxo
You are doing a good job with her!
She is growing so fast! Look at those long legs! LOL! She sure is a cutie and although you are so lucky to have a puppy around I am sure you are going to miss her terribly when you go home.
I was thinking about how much you will miss her this summer. Perhaps she can come for a long visit...or two. ;)
Life is just wonderful with a dog!!!
It's so fun to hear about the adventures of Sadie.
For some reason , I don't think you will have to part with Sadie.:)
She is growing fast. She is a pretty dog. It is still puppy stuff for a while but it is nice she is getting to be a bit better.
Nice shots of your photogenic grand pup! No doubt Sadie will miss you guys too! Just think of the wiggles and kisses when she visits :)
I think you are really enjoying the job of raising this young lady! She is just gorgeous.
Wow...you sure are having fun with Sadie Long Legs! She is so cute....I love that picture of her halfway down the stairs! And love hearing about all the funny things she does!
She is such a cutie and I love her long, gangly legs. They grow so fast. I, too, was wondering how you were going to be able to leave that sweet little, (sort-of little,) thing when you go home.
Zoey is 7 1/2 months old and still gets up around 3:00 to go outside. She always does her business, but boy, it's a pain in the wintertime to bundle up to take her out. Chloe had a doggy door and was basically self-sufficient. Not Zoey. We love her so much though and can't imagine life without her. Thanks for sharing Sadie with us too.
It is interesting to read about Sadie's progress.
she is adorable, you are going to miss her.
