Turning the corner

Far Guy has finally turned the corner, he is feeling a bit better.  He is still coughing and wheezing but can breathe easier.  He was in the hospital last week. Respiratory distress and Acute Bronchitis and most likely a nasty virus.  He has a long way to go for a complete recovery, it will take time and patience.

I am feeling better also ...just real tired.  That was one wicked virus.  Our youngest daughter Jen made many trips here to check on us and make sure we had what we needed.

Our winter weather has returned with a late April snowfall yesterday.

Just what we needed to feel all "springy."

My main objective is to take care of Far Guy and get him back to reasonably good health.  I will write the blog when I can...no promises.

I am glad that Jen can come to check and bring in things. I see Minnesota got hit again with snow. The weather has caused a really tough year. Always in my prayers. Stay warm and inside.

I am so glad to hear that Far Guy is feeling better and home after his hospital stay. Also glad that you too are on the road to recovery. Thankful that Jen was able to come and help out. Take care of yourself and get better. You and Far guy are in my daily prayers. Praying you both for a speedy recovery.

I had been thinking of you guys daily and wondering how you were getting along. It is very tiring to try to take care of yourself and someone else. Hopefully the weather and your health cooperate and head to a nice spring.

I'm glad you're both feeling a little better, but hope once it stops snowing (which I also hope is soon) you will start feeling better faster so that you can both enjoy spring when it finally arrives! Don't worry about us, we'll be here whenever you feel the urge to write!

Keeping you in our prayers. That virus has arrived at my house, luckily not with as much force. Yesterday I was clad in baggy jeans, stretched out shirt and a cardigan with holes as my husband slept. We got an emergency call from my police officer son who had been called into work as he sat in the pediatricians office with a 4 yr old, a 3 yr old and a 6 month old who have it too. I had to wake my sleeping husband to help install car seats (whose bright idea was it over the weekend to vacuum the car?) and go sit for another hour waiting to see a doctor who can't give them anything for a virus? I was surprised they didn't call child services when they saw me.

Good Morning! I was so glad to see your post and read that you are both on the road to improvement. We'll all be here waiting when you feel able to write and give updates. Dennis and I are both praying for complete recovery for both of you. I'm so glad you have family close by who can help. I'm sorry about the snow. Spring has been a fickle lady this year.
Blessings,
Betsy

Yes, I have checked in everyday too! I was beginning to worry also but kept the Prayers going your way! Sure hope you recover fast, but I know it does take time to get your strength back. Hope the wheezing and coughing goes away soon but try not to rush things. Sharon

Good news that you're both on the mend. It's so great that your daughter lives close enough so she can pop over to check if you need anything.

What a relief to see something here, even if it is only that Far Guy is a "bit better." Glad to hear the news! Sorry to hear that nasty bug has gotten you down, too. Sounds like you both could use some real spring weather!
