The snow is gone from the snowstick!
April 9th in the morning the snow and ice and water was all gone from the snowstick.
Pauline is the winner, please contact me with your address. I will get a woodcarving off to you soon.
The rest of you...more snow is forecast...
We still have plenty of snow but there is hope for Spring now.
Far Side
I feel your joy!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful surprise for you and for me. The snow at the snow stick is gone and I made the correct guess. I will send my address.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Pauline! That is some surprise about the snow. We are also expecting more snow today and tonight. Hoping it is only the 1 to 3 inches they are predicting.
ReplyDeletei have so enjoyed the last couple of Spring like days.
Congratulations Pauline! I really hope you don't have to start the contest again. No more SNOW!
ReplyDeleteNice! I'm sure you were feeling winter would never end. Congrats to Pauline.
ReplyDeleteWell are you in the area that is going to get a snow bomb cyclone thingy today? Your stick may have snow on it again! LOL!....okay I shouldn't laugh. We have to cancel and appointment today because of the winds and rain...
ReplyDeleteHope any snow that comes your way disappears fast! Maybe you could plug in a long cord to a hair dryer to make sure nothing is around the snow stick?
ReplyDeleteExcellent news!
ReplyDeleteWell congratulations to you and Pauline!
ReplyDeleteYAY! The SNOW IS GONE!!!
ReplyDeleteWooHoo! But then are you going to get that Wesley storm that is supposed to be another 'cyclone' blizzard? It looked like southern MN would get it but I haven't looked lately. I am missing all the great blizzards! I did get to watch some on You Tube but it's just not the same! Get your supplies in just in case!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Pauline!
Yeah! -- we still have a bit of snow here - although I can now get to the birdfeeder!
ReplyDeleteSo happy for you that it's gone and hope the rest of the snow goes away soon. Congratulations to Pauline!
ReplyDeleteOh, joy! The snow stick is bare. I so hope that 18” predicted for tomorrow misses you (and my kids, too). I am so envious — you get a massage with your PT. In my opinion PT stands for Physical Torture. Hurts so much. But i guess if it helps it’s worth it.
ReplyDeleteThere is hope for spring to arrive!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Pauline. It was a great guess and you won. I hope she doesn’t have to start up the rest of the contest when it snows again. The stick seems a lot bare from it being sitting in plain dirt.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Pauline! :)
ReplyDeleteYou are on my mind. I don't know what your local forecast is, but our Sounders soccer team had their match in Chicago cancelled for today due to the pending snow storm. They had to get a special charter to get out of Chicago to get back home. Hang on for a bumpy start to spring.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Pauline, lucky you
ReplyDeleteI hope you are done with snow and the forecast proves wrong.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Pauline.
Rats! One day off! congratulations Pauline.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Pauline! I hope you're not snowed in again, though. Enough already! :-)
