Snowy Sunday

It snowed.  The “big” storm missed us and we got about an inch of new snow.

Snow April 15

After the snow there were new tracks up on June. A squirrel.

Tracks up JUne

We finally perfected the research and development of this years Christmas Ornament. One is completely done…all the kinks are worked out…and we both like it.  It involves a bit of painting.  We won’t begin to carve in earnest until the weather improves and we can carve outside in the afternoon. On days when it is too hot on the patio I will work on painting inside.

Being too hot might be a stretch of my imagination.  My Dad has predicted that it will be a cool summer.

Mid-April and that much snow, still! It amazes me. Of course, we have so much snow in our mountains that we don't know when we might be able to get to the High Country for hikes this year. :-(

I predict our summer will be great !!! Thanks for sharing , Hope spring arrives for you soon . Have a good day !

I think you sent all the snow down to my house. We had rain/snow/freezing rain all day Sunday. Today it is snowing big flakes.

I think your Dad's prediction is right on the money.

Love the squirrel tracks!!
We're supposed to get into the 40s and eventually the 50s now in the next week! I'll believe it when I see it--LOL! ;)

Spring will be very short this year. Summer will just suddenly appear. Usually some of the early crops have been seeded by now.

I think Red might be right. We'll go from having the furnace run to using the A/C this year.

Maybe I could send some of our rain to melt your snow?

We have gotten more snow back here than I want! Now, it's raining and there is flooding all over the place.

I won' t mention how nice it is here....but then you don't have yard work either. I imagine though you wouldn't mind some after the winter you've had. Glad the last one missed you....'you deserve a break today'! I sang that last little jingle....good thing you couldn't hear me..lol!
