The other night we took out Ranger Blue and sat in our old driveway and watched the storm roll in.
Rain and some wind. It was entertaining.
When it was so hot I worked on putting together some cards. I have many of the watercolor/stamps all colored. (last winter I colored many while keeping an eye on Sadie) I just need to trim them to size and audition mat colors and envelopes and assemble them. I finished about 25 cards and there are still more that I could do.
Far Guy has all the blanks cut out for the woodcarved Christmas Ornaments. He has begun carving.
It was cooler and windy yesterday after the storms...temperatures were only 77 F or 25 C for a high, but we are headed back up to hot again soon.
Your cards are so pretty. You are so talented.
I have always been a bit envious of those farmstead I drive by where they can literally see for miles in every direction. I think I would spend all summer long sitting on the porch and watching storms blow in. My house though is surrounded by trees and by the time I see the storm coming, I have minutes before it arrives.
Your cool weather sounds on the hot side to me. But I'm glad you got a respite from the intense heat. Such wonderful cards!
I enjoy watching storms. I sure miss the view we had over the lake!
(ツ) from Cottage Country , ON, Canada!
Those are absolutely stunning cards! You know I keep all of the ones you sent because they are so gorgeous!
We missed storms, but I got to be entertained with fireflies last night.
I love a good summer storm. We aren't getting any in the near future. I love your acrds especially after you use the glitter pens on them! I'm glad you and Far Guy keep busy and stay off the streets and out of trouble! LOL!
Your cards are beautiful! I love to watch a storm roll in.
We are near 100 degrees. Enjoy your cool. I’m wishing for some.
Those cards are just beautiful. You are so very talented.
Watching storms roll in is one of my favorite summer activities. Living in the city, it isn't quite as dramatic, but my sunroom is a great place to enjoy a thunderstorm.
Your cards are so beautiful. I've saved mine to enjoy on my desk! I wish my husband had a creative hobby to enjoy IF he ever decides to retire.
I'm excited to see what Far Guy is carving this year.
Beautiful cards. I don't have a creative outlet, I suppose cooking and baking bread could be called that, but your's is prettier! We may live in the same state but our landscapes are different. I don't have the panoramic view you do, mine is trees and hills, so a storm rolling in has a different quality.
Like Sara,I treasure your beautiful cards and my gorgeous sunflower and little house carvings.
It's been so hot here but storms are supposed to roll in tomorrow night and lower temps to the. 80's for at least a few days. I hope that's true.
Your cards are all so pretty. You have so much talent in making them. I tried once and it looked like a five year old it.:-)
How exciting to have the Christmas ornaments in process. I always love to see the new one each year and treasure the ones I've received from you.
Blessings and hugs,
I love your creative spirit. Those cards you made are beautiful. Gigi Hawaii
Pretty cards. I like the colours you chose to paint them.
Watching an approaching storm is something I love to do too ( although it's harder when you live in town).
I love to watch storms roll in. Your cards are lovely, you do beautiful work! Enjoy your cooler temperatures... they say this summer is going to be one of the hottest on record.
Your cards are beautiful! I especially love the one with the flowers in the glass jar. I always get excited when you start talking about the Christmas Ornaments! Enjoy that cool weather while you have it. We have a couple of days of cooler weather in the 80s but it's going back up to the upper 90s after that. Well, it is summer!
Weather seems to be the hot topic everywhere.
Your cards are great and so welcome for those who are fortunate to receive them.
Oh my gosh, your cards are so beautiful Connie. I love the colors and the sparkles! Your cards at a Work of Art! Nice here today too....about 73!
Thank goodness for Ranger Blue - to get you both out of the house and see the beauty around you! I hope your hands are feeling better and your shoulder, too.
Such pretty cards. I especially like the flowers in the mason jar.
We had one gorgeous day and then back to 85 degrees and sticky. Isn't supposed to cool off till the weekend.
I love watching storms. :)
Your cooler weather is still hotter than I like it. I do love storms though. I also love how the air is fresher for a while after them.
Your cards are beautiful. You really are multi-talented.
I like the cards so pretty
Hobby Lobby is putting out November stuff and I see Christmas shelves are being prepare. I guess Christmas things are suppose to be out by the fourth of July. Good for Far Guy to getting all those things carved. I saw many stuffed soft gnomes today that reminded me of someone's ornament.
