Thrift Shop Finds

Last time I was in town I headed to the Thrift Shop.  Bought a few shirts for Hey Mikey and some hard covered books for him.  Kids books are 25 cents there.

These snowmen also wanted to come home with me.  I thought about making a garland…then I decided that they should all go on the wreath outside the door.  Far Guy drilled some holes in the snowmen plates and I threaded some copper wire through the holes.

It might look better with some Christmas lights…at any rate the Fall Decorations have been taken down.

The sun was shining yesterday!  We walked and afterwards fed all the birds/squirrels.  Spent a quiet day at home catching up on odds and ends.

It sure is fun to see what you do when you aren't doing anything. Nice wreath! :-)

I love thrift store goodies and these are awesome! Love it. I made my own grape vine wreath and liked it unadorned...so far....

Thrift shops are fun. I love to browse the aisles. I've found some great curtains recently.

I love thrift shops. It's just that I am missing the "clever decorating gene" so it wouldn't occur to me to do anything with snowmen so I would not come with stuff for decorating. The squirrels at your house are fortunate that you feed them. Those who show up here to raid the feeders aren't so lucky.

Oh, how cute! Yes, I can picture it with some lights strung around it. :)

I love thrift stores and never know just what I'm going to find.
I packed up a box of Christmas decorations that I no longer want ( or need!!) so someone else can hopefully use them.

I love the snowmen plates and I never would have thought of putting them on a wreath! You are so creative! We put our tree up but it may take me a few days to decorate it since I'm the only one doing it.

I don't dare go to a thrift shop. I have too much stuff already. We just got all of the Christmas tubs out of the attic today. Decorating will be in full gear here tomorrow.

The last time I tried to drill though a plate I broke the bit.

Yay for the sun! At times like these dreary winter days, it feels so good to just see some sunshine!

You are so creative. That wreath looks great! Especially in the sunlight ;)
