What is black, sucks and is afraid of sunlight?
Why Dracula of course.
My husband’s robotic vacuum. He is amazed at what it picks up. He sends it out just about every morning to go through the house…somedays he carries it upstairs and lets it work up there…perfect for getting under beds.
Sunlight shining on the kitchen floor confuses it and it retreats. It loves the laundry/furnace room where it always gets caught up on the drain for the furnace. You can direct it with a remote but Far Guy usually lets it go where it pleases….and rescues it when it gets caught. It will try to suck up the bathroom rugs…but not the kitchen rug…go figure.
It is a Robo vac made by eufy. Disclaimer: I have not been compensated in any way for this review…but it the company wants to send me one for a permanent home upstairs that would work for me.
I always wondered if those really worked. Glad to hear yours does.
Charlie needs one to chase around the house. My luck would be he'd be afraid of it.
I keep seeing these things advertised on TV and wondered if they really work. Thanks for sharing your experiences with it.
Me, too, I wondered if they really work. I don't know anybody else who has one, so I learned something. I wonder if your Dracula is noisy. :-)
Our new neighbor across the way - new development going in - has a grass cutter that does it on its own - wonder how good a job it does.
Interesting to get a user's report on this gadget. I'll tell Tom about it.
What does it do when it encounters a power cord? Do you have to make sure your lamp cords are lifted up out of the way?
I have a Roomba that I've named "Dusty." I love it and my back loves it, too.
I've heard about these things, and wondered if they were any good. Glad yours seems to be. Although, the sunlight thing is strange (amusing though).
I never thought about under the bed - that is genius. I may have to request a robot of my own for Christmas!
Cords have to be up off the floor.
Nope is is quiet:)
I saw the first one 20 years ago. they've come a long way since then.
I have one that I got several years ago and then it wouldn't take a charge. I let it run out totally and then it worked for awhile again. Then it got an error and when I called the company (not yours...I think mine is Neeto) they said the part would cost about a much as a new one! So, there it sits. One of these days I should hook it up again and see if the 'vacation' fixed it. I sure could use it....I'm not getting any younger! I must admit though I love my Shark vacuum but I have to push it by hand...lol!
I have wondered about those. With a lab and two fairly long haired cats I sweep twice a day and I get very tired of it. What does it do when it encounters stairs? Does it stop before it falls down them?
Yes it stops at stairs and turns around:)
It looks like fun and I would love one for getting under the beds. But, Bob would eat it! She is convinced that all vacuums are the devil incarnate and she must protect her humans at all cost.
I can see where the Robo Vac could be very handy!!
Good to know that it works. How is it on carpets?
I bought one for my parents years ago and they love it
great! Upstairs is carpeted:)
What fun - but it would scare the dogs for sure.
Does it run and hide from thunder and lightning?
no just sun shining on the floor:)
I would love one of those!
