I don’t like black olives or any olives for that matter. I recall a fancy slice of bread that was topped with Cheese Whiz and one slice of a green olive right smack dab in the center and I would eat all around that olive.
Jennifer our youngest daughter loves black olives. I used to buy them just for her. She would open the can and start putting olives on each of her fingers…she would need help with a few. Then she would show them off and proceed to eat them one by one.
She still enjoys black olives.
Her fingers are larger now or olives are smaller.
Yes she still likes olives.
Today is a voting day. Jennifer is a Councilwoman and has thrown her hat into the Mayoral ring. We wish her much luck! Her whole campaign budget ($35.00) was spent on one sign that was placed in her yard because “Everyone that comes into town must pass by my house.”
Best wishes to Jen!
ReplyDeleteJohn loves olives. I have never cared for them.
Best of luck to Jen! I'd vote for her on the basis of her campaign budget frugality alone!
ReplyDeleteMy grandsons like black olives, but only as finger decorations. They wear them around for awhile and wouldn't dream of eating them because they are "gross".
Best of luck to Jen. I'm with Jen on the black olives - love them.
ReplyDeleteGood luck to Jen. She can ponder decisions while munching on black olives!
ReplyDeleteI love all kinds of olives. But I've never WORN them before. Good luck to Jen! :-)
ReplyDeleteI don't like olives at all either. Those seem to be one of those love 'em or hate 'em foods - - not much in between. We will look forward to the results of all the elections. I admire anyone who wants to run because people are not as appreciative of those willing to lead as they once were.
ReplyDeleteHow exciting and I love her low budget campaign (more need that). Best of luck to Jennifer.
ReplyDeleteGood luck, Jennifer!
ReplyDeleteGood Luck....!!
ReplyDeleteI love black olives!! I don't like green ones! Go figure.
ReplyDeleteIs she running on 'an olive in every household' platform? I'd vote for her! :)
ReplyDeleteGood luck to your daughter. I love olives, green and black, no pimento. When we lived in California we had olive trees and my husband would make olives for us----they have to be cured, can't be eaten fresh off the tree.
ReplyDeleteHope Jennifer wins the election! I think the world needs public officials who are intelligent like she is. As for olives - I never saw an olive I didn't love!
ReplyDeleteShirley H.
Olive your pictures of Jennifer!
ReplyDeleteGood luck, Jennifer!
I love olives but I don't put them on my fingers. Best of luck to Jennifer in her election race.
ReplyDeleteCute post! Hope Jennifer Wins! I think all campaign budgets should be only $35.00, and only one sign!
ReplyDeleteGOOD LUCK! I hope you win!!!

I would vote for her as I like black olives too. I sure hope she wins.
ReplyDeleteThirty five bucks for an entire campaign budget? I'd LOVE to vote for her!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes to Jennifer on her latest endeavor. You have absolutely got to post a follow-up on this one ;)
I can't stand olives either.
ReplyDeleteGood luck to her!
I'll bet the olives are getting smaller! Hope Jennifer won!
ReplyDeleteYep, time to move on to the Jumbos! LOL! I love olives and I did the same thing and have since taught my children and now their children....it's tradition!
