We must have gremlins at our house, the wifi is down, and my other computer somehow lost it's ability to make a CD..well a system restore fixed that right up...but how did I lose it in the first place and why?
She who sees robins first was kind enough to let me use her wifi connection. Last night a thingy went out, Far Guy called it a modem ( it belongs to our provider) we are on their list for a service call tomorrow. So we should be back up and running then. We got somewhere between 4 1/2 and 6 inches of rain last night...it rained through all of Five People you met in Heaven and Far and Away. I was about ready to put in the Bee Gees One Night Only..when I somehow fell asleep. It rained most of the night..some roadways are flooded.
We have big plans for the Fourth..we will go look at the water running across the road..and maybe go into the fireworks this evening if it isn't raining. Life in the fast lane! Have a great Fourth of July however you spend your day:)
We almost always get rain for the 4th! We are spending a quiet day at home. Hoping you get everything up and running soon; that can be so frustrating. Hope you two are feeling good today. Harriet sends a smooch to Chance.
ReplyDeleteHasn't rained here in awhile!! We are doing nothing on the 4th. Next year I will plan something!! Have a great day!!
ReplyDeleteHappy 4th!
ReplyDeleteBummer stuff not working and on a holiday! We are up and running -- a bit water logged though! Had a date with the rain last night - the rain got its' way! Happy Day!
ReplyDeleteI live in downtown MPLS MN and there have been times the WiFi was down. Each time the weather was either very humid or rainy.

It is just beautiful here in Southern Georgia, has been for a couple days now, so all our plans went well and we had a great cookout yesterday too, hugs
ReplyDeleteWe usually get rain on the 4th and I hope this year won't be an acception b'cause we really need some rain, although not 5" at one time !!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a wonderful 4th. Blessing to you
Hope you enjoy life in the fast lane!
ReplyDeleteI do believe that we have seen the last of our rainy days, at least for a week or two - hopefully. Now to cut the hay! It rained a bit on us yesterday, mostly it was chilly and nearly everyone was wrapped in blankets all day, all except those who had parkas handy in their front closet still.
