The October Book club choice was The Savage, Noble Death of Babs Dionne by Ron Currie.
I give it a two on my scale of one to ten on Good Reads I gave it a one out of a five. Not my kind of book...it was a struggle to get through.

Our oldest daughter and her beau are here visiting. Nice to have company!

It's always a great day when family comes to visit. Hope you all have had fun.
ReplyDeleteI'm impressed you finished a book that you didn't enjoy. I probably would have given up.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy you visit with your daughter and her beau!
I had a hard time with our current book club read - Theo of Golden. Just not my speed, I guess.
ReplyDeleteI Read Theo of Golden and loved it!
DeleteI'm glad for you to have kids home for a visit. I hope to see all ours come Christmas time.
ReplyDeleteI hate to admit that I have stopped reading.
ReplyDeleteI guess I won't put "Savage" on my list, but I might check our "Theo of Golden".
ReplyDelete:-)
Enjoy your visitors! That read would not be for me, either (I had to look at Goodreads).
ReplyDeleteEven the title of that book is off-putting. Enjoy your company this weekend!!
ReplyDeleteI am so happy Tricia is visiting you and Far Guy! Have a great visit.
ReplyDeleteI don't need anymore books! I'm kind of relieved you didn't recommend one to me. I usually look up your recommendations.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Enjoy your visit with your daughter!
