Quiet but busy weekend

We had a quiet weekend, Jen and Andy are in Ohio for the weekend, they entrusted us with Sadie and Little Elvis.  Sadie has been a bit down and looks out the window...I finally told her not today maybe tomorrow and she seemed to understand.  Far Guy plays fetch and tug and I put her on the treadmill daily, I did some "leash work" with her...she needs to learn to walk nicely on a leash.  Sadie is a work in progress.

Far Guy has been watching hockey, I did some laundry, changed the sheets, cleaned out some of the drawers in the kitchen, worked on the puzzle and put photos in the photo albums for the Grands...  I am in 2010...so I am making progress.

  1. You are so much farther along than I am...falling behind in my chores and baking here at home.
    Poor Sadie...she needs a cuddle!

  2. That's a lot of puzzle pieces! Wow!

Poor Sadie, she just looks lonely.

You sure are making progress on your photo albums, that is a lot of work.

  4. You keep yourself busy! I bought a couple of puzzles during the pandemic. Have I worked on any of them? No.

  5. Sadie is definitely attached to her people. It sounds like she likes you and FG too.
    That puzzle looks intimidating!

  6. I'm glad you are there for the dogg'os!

  7. Sadie is so loyal. She is sneaking a peak just in case something will happen. Being snow bound makes one nervous and one does need to have projects going on.

  8. There is no chance I could do that puzzle! Some dogs get very attached to their people, don't they. You are a busy person.

  9. Oh, sad Sadie.
That puzzle is daunting. So is the idea of cleaning out my drawers and cupboards.

  11. I think a quiet weekend sounds pretty good right now. Sadie is very smart. I'm sure she'll figure out the leash quickly enough.

  12. Glad you had the dogs to keep you busy over the weekend. Far guy is watching hockey and we're watching the football playoffs. Also finishing up putting all the Christmas stuff away and getting out the valentine decor! I'll be sending Valentine cards to our four grandkids soon too.

  13. Perfect photo! I can just read her mind — “Where are my people? And why didn’t they take me with!”!

  14. Poor Sadie....she loves Jen and Andy so much. Sometimes I think a dog's love is the greatest love of all. That puzzle looks like a humdinger!
