Card Club

In the Winter I go to Card Club with Jen.  I know several of the gals that attend.

We made some real pretty cards.

The designs are bit different from what I usually do...change is good.  I am discovering that different is not all bad.   Discover was my one word intention for this year.

When you said Card Club I thought you would play card games. This looks like fun.

Those are pretty neat! Wow!

My Aunt started doing cards like these with a group and has really enjoyed it.

Discover...keep on Discovering!

You're just learning new techniques to add to the beautiful cards you've already been making. Very pretty!! Is the middle one embossed?

Sara, Yes the middle one is embossed!

Nice, and I agree "discovery" is a worthy goal. Best of luck in the coming year. Happy card making.

These cards are beautiful. It looks like you need all of the right tools to make them though.

Those look very pretty!
I loved going to cards classes at K & Krafts when I lived in Moorhead, Mn across the river. I always learned new techniques or used new products and made cards I wouldn't normally make. Such fun! When you go regularly you get to know the regular crowd, too. :)

Very pretty cards. I assume that when you attend the Card Club you all have access to different dies and such. It would be great if you do.

Ha....when you said card club I pictured you all playing Bridge or something! Ah but your cards are beautiful and I bet it was fun making them with a bunch of other people. You certainly have a flair for artistic things, Connie. Glad you're finding neat things to do there!

Such pretty cards. I used to get together once a week with a good friend to make cards but she has not been well so we haven't made cards in a year. I miss it. Both the visit and being creative.

I like all the cards that you create. These are more Hallmark style.
