Happy Easter!

Easter Postcard (3)

I love to tell the story
Of unseen things above,
Of Jesus and His glory,
Of Jesus and his love.
I love to tell the story,
Because I know its true;
It satisfies my longings
As nothing else would do.
I love to tell the story,
'Twill be my theme in glory
To tell the old, old story
Of Jesus and His love

One of my favorite hymns.  Happy Easter!

  8. We didn't sing that one in our church but I remember it well because it was the theme for a radio program when I was growing up.

  18. I love that hymn, too. There are many, many of the hymns I love because they have such great theology. Our church used to sing many of them but now we just sing a few because a lot of contemporary music has been incorporated. Some I like but the endless repetitions of redundant phrase stop resonating with me after a while.
