We finished the puzzle, it was a tad difficult.
Redwood National Park
Then I finished a baby blanket.
It is Baby Bee Snugs & Kisses yarn from Hobby Lobby and the color is called Grape Jelly. I used three skeins and I think the crochet hook was a J.We have been lucky and had no appointments so far this week until today Far Guy has his weekly Infusion and on Friday I go to Physical Therapy. It was a digging out day yesterday...we got about seven inches of snow.
Jen made spaghetti and meatballs for supper and beer bread. She cannot eat either of them so she is a star cook! Jen has a gluten intolerance.
Minnesota weather; High was 16F or -9C Low was -3F or -19C eh! We are headed into the deep freeze for a few days...Friday and Saturday we will not get above zero.
Far Side
Well, that puzzle certainly looks difficult, but beautiful. And take off your blanket. 7 cm of snow, that hasn't happened here in years.
ReplyDeleteI hope it doesn't bother you too much today and tomorrow.
High of 16. I can imagine it and don’t want to.
ReplyDeleteWouldn’t it be great to skip like we used to. I hobble along.
The puzzle looks very different.
To a Texan, that MN weather sounds horrible! Woke up to 34F this morning which is frigid for us. 🤣 RHill, TX
ReplyDeleteWe'll be in the deep freeze also this weekend. I was supposed to go on a group hike but with temps only at 1 degree F and -25 windchills, I'm not driving that far for an exploration of butt frozen cold stuff [and the possibility of a vehicle breakdown in that weather].
ReplyDeleteGood projects done! Stay warm!
We've been having the same weather. That puzzle looks impossible to me.
ReplyDeleteWe had about the same amount of snow here. I am so glad to see it, but it is a royal pain to clear it away from the streets and sidewalks. Glad I don't have to do that anymore. I can just enjoy how beautiful it looks! ;)
ReplyDeleteExcellent finishes!
ReplyDeleteDigging out sounds like a lot of work. I wouldn't last very long (maybe a few minutes) out in those kind of temps. Sounds like a beautiful color for the baby blanket...you do amaze me with all that you get done. This puzzle looks like it might be a bit complicated and take some extra time. It is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWe got a good dump of snow yesterday too. Now the cold is barreling back in. Thanks for sharing that. LOL
ReplyDeleteWe had freezing rain, then sleet, and then snow this morning. It's so slippery out right now. How nice of Jen to cook things she can't even eat. That yarn looks so soft. Nice finish!!
ReplyDeleteOh, that's a lot of snow at once. We had the potential for 8 inches but I don't think we got more than 3 inches. Much easier to shovel.
ReplyDeleteThe weekend weather is going to be very cold here too. There will be no going outdoors here unless it is absolutely necessary.
That is a very pretty puzzle!
You stay warm, girl. We only got around 2" of snow but it's supposed to turn very cold by the weekend. I dread it.
ReplyDeleteThat does look like a difficult one, great job! Of course, I love the blanket too. I'm glad you don't have to get out for too many appointments in that kind of weather. Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteI love the pattern of the baby blanket! So pretty. Im starting to make some Christmas breads and homemade Carmel Corn requested by the grands every year! I have to have my husband hide the Carmel Corn or I'll sit down and watch a movie and then oops it'll be gone!
ReplyDeleteGlad we don't have all that snow.
Poor Jen. I hope as more and more people have an intolerance to gluten more good tasty products will come on the market specifically for them. I imagine she could eat the meatballs at least.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I would have been able to do that difficult puzzle!
Brr....stay warm as you can the next couple of days. We will have that same weather here. Ooh I would love some spaghetti and meatballs and beer bread too! Lucky you. Take good care, friends. God bless you all.
ReplyDeleteLD...That had to be a complicated puzzle. You hook does a good job making a beautiful piece. I have a dreaded test coming up and I am dreading to hear its results. God's in charge.
