We are fortunate enough to have a Golden Retriever who loves us here at Jen and Andy's home.
She was real patient with us one evening. Jen put Sadie in the pantry and then taped up Christmas paper over the doorway and for treats Sadie poked her head out.
Sadie is a very happy dog. She lets us pet her as much as we want! She is four years old now.
It was a skating rink outside on Friday...it rained during the night and ice covered everything. The main routes were okay but the side roads are glare ice. Coming home from the Infusion yesterday I had to attempt the driveway twice. Slow and steady the second attempt was successful.
Minnesota weather; High 28F or -2C and Low was 24F or -4C eh!
Supper was a Chef's salad, fruit and some sweet potato fries. (Sadie liked the sweet potato fries)
Far Side
Sadie picture is for the records. It could win a contest.
ReplyDeleteThe weather sounds frightful.
Such a sweet dog! Great shots.
ReplyDeleteThe photos of Sadie would make a fun Christmas card!
ReplyDeleteGlad you made it home safely, I'm terrified driving on icy roads. I'm a confident driver otherwise but ice..not so much.
Awww, Sadie is adorable! Cute pix.
ReplyDeleteSadie is a good sport - especially to please the people she loves. We've had heavy fog the past couple of mornings and nights. Some roads were pretty slick yesterday morning. Today it's already in mid 30s so probably no ice.
ReplyDeleteNot a fan of ice!!! We are feeling lucky that is missed us (although I haven't left the house since last Sunday). Sadie is the best!
ReplyDeleteSadie is just adorable! Those pics would make great Christmas cards.
ReplyDeleteI’m sorry you had to go out in the icy weather. Sadie is a doll. I can send our Vickie u to you if you want a dog to pet. She would enjoy it all day!
ReplyDeleteThe ice is very bad. It's too risky to take a chance on it.
ReplyDeleteThose photos are wonderful! But then Sadie is a wonder dog!
ReplyDeleteLove the photos of Sadie! She has a sweet smile. It snowed all day, melted and froze, and snowed some more. I’m glad I don’t have to go anywhere.
ReplyDeleteBest pictures ever!!! What a great idea.
ReplyDeleteRegarding weather - - I guess you don't want me to tell you it was in the mid-seventies at our house today! We worked outside. Bill did the yard and I straightened and cleaned our upper screened deck. Those railings get dirty so quickly. I'm sure it has nothing to do with the huge winds last week moving the dirt around. LOL
I have been reading your blog everyday but have not had time to comment for one reason or another. I meant to go back and do that and may still have time this next week.
Stay safe. we're getting sleet tonight and more rain and snow tomorrow. Take good care, diane in northern wis
ReplyDeleteSuch a good pup and an excellent photo opp.
ReplyDeleteDogs make everything better.
ReplyDeleteLD...She is a star everyday.
