Another hat and melting

I made Cee Cee a hat.  I put sparkly buttons on her hat.  She came over to visit this week while her Mama took baby sister to the clinic.  She can pile half her toys in her backpack to bring with her.

The hat fits her nicely, it is another Kaldi hat pattern by Tinna. The yarn has a bit of sparkle in it...it is from Hobby Lobby.  I guessed at the size and it fits great!

The ice melted a bit yesterday. There are broken tree limbs all over town.  The ice tested limb strength.

Nice hat! I need warm hats when I go out for sure. Love that sparkle, it is so fun!

This morning we have freezing fog so I am hoping to go find some cool Rime Ice or something interesting while I hike to get the mail.

What a cute hat and a happy girl! Can't believe she's this big already.
Yes, lots of limbs down. Dagan and Leah lost a big branch off a willow tree. The city is having branch pick up there are so many down. At least the ice melted quite a bit with warmer weather there for a while, but this morning it is freezing cold again...quite literally. :)

The hat is beautiful! You picked out a great color yarn and what fun it is to give a girl sparkles! She looks delighted to be with you for a little while.

I agree with the other comments on how grown up Cee Cee looks. How fast they grow!

The hat is adorable, and so is Cee Cee. You are great at making hats! I really like Far Guy's hat too! Cee Cee has the sweetest smile. Cheered me up to see her.

CeeCee is growing up! Cute hat on a cute kid.
When we had our worst ice storm, I called it the night of the screaming trees. It took us weeks to clean up.
