Train

This is one of the puzzles that we picked up at the puzzle exchange at the library.

Proof that we finished it!

It was a difficult puzzle.

Sunday we met my other baby brother and she who sees robins first for lunch and a quick visit as they had been in North Dakota for Thanksgiving visiting Katie, Hunter, Gavin, Jordan and Aubrey.  Gavin and Jordan have moved into their own apartment.  Both have good jobs and are striking out on their own.

We had leftovers for supper and cleared out a bit of "whats in the fridge".

Minnesota weather; High was 20F or -7C Low was 3F or -16C eh!

Only 7 medical appointments this week practically a vacation...and two days this week we have nothing scheduled!

  1. Two days with nothing scheduled for you both is great. Love the puzzle, and yes, it looks difficult.

  3. Enjoy the 2 "vacation" days without appointments. I wish the library here did a puzzle exchange. That is a clever idea. I have a new puzzle set out but haven't started it yet. Today might be the day. LOL

  4. Enjoy your two days of vacation. You've more than earned it! How many more treatments for Far Guy...the bell can't be too far off.

  5. So happy to hear "two days off"!!! Our library does a puzzle exchange and if we ever finish a puzzle, maybe we can exchange it, lol.

  7. We loved Springbok puzzles - - but they can definitely work your brain. We started doing those during COVID days. Now we just do them on our computer. Two reasons - - a cat who likes to play with anything and on surfaces where she should not be! The second is my husband is quicker finding things and likes to finish what he starts. To me it is more of a leisure activity to help relax. That means I don't get much of a chance to find pieces. The perfect solution has been when each of us got 'free' iPads - - another story - - and we added puzzle apps. It's the same and it's not but it works well for me and him, too.

  9. Not quite that cold here yet but we're staring down the wind tunnel. (E.Ontario) We had a nice dump of snow over the weekend.

  11. Enjoy those two unscheduled days off. It's a bittersweet time when our younger generation begins to find their own way and move into their own place. They all grow up.

  12. That's a really nice puzzle but I can see how it would be challenging.

  15. Two days with nothing?! Wonderful for you both. That black engine looks like it would be difficult to put together. It's very cold here and I've been hibernating as much as possible.
    Blessings,
    Betsy
