The Autumn weather is here, winds blow the leaves in the yard to and fro... if a huge gusts comes by a few even land in the woods! Last weeks highs in the 80's are history.
The Oaks just turn brownish and then fall off.We are still under the weather but improving. Far Guy has one appointment this week and I have three; Dentist, Dermatologist for a biopsy and Physical Therapy.
We tested for Covid and neither of us have it.
Trica made pork chops and rice for supper, we are grateful for the help.
Minnesota weather: High was 74F or 24C and low was 39F or 4C.
Far Side
Here's hoping you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteFall is definitely here but I am happy to see the leaves starting to change.
Glad to hear the two of you are feeling better. Hope the doctor's appointments go well this week. I know it must be nice to see Trica. I have a son I rarely see because he lives in another part of the country.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you're getting better. Keep it up, going in the right direction all right.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you are going to be even colder the next few days!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear you are both on the mend. My daughter that works at the VA hospital in Sioux Falls has been home with Covid all of last week. Still not feeling well today, but better than last week. It's very chilly here this morning - just barely over 40 degrees right now.
ReplyDeleteTrica being there is a boost I know. Get better soon is my wish for you and FG.
ReplyDeleteA huge Hooray for improvement! It doesn't matter the speed as long as it is forward motion. It sure is a blessing to have someone cooking because good nutrition is important for healing. My guess is both of your girls are good cooks since you and your mom are and were.
ReplyDeleteI don't think we are going to have a pretty autumn. We have not had enough rain. We have had brown leaves falling, too.
Good luck with the appointments.
ReplyDeleteIt froze here overnight, and the high is forecast for a mere 10C/50F today. We'll get a hard frost tonight -5C/23F. It's definitely on the down hill side towards winter.
On the mend is such a good, good thing
ReplyDeleteYour weather changed rather quickly! Good to know you're both feeling somewhat better.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear that you are both doing better.
ReplyDeleteI had a miserable dentist appointment this morning - two old crowns removed, a cavity under one cleaned up, and temp crowns put on. I am now upstairs at the computer, staying away from the kitchen because it will be a while before I can even try eating. I can tell already that I am going to have to go back. The crowns are too high and causing pain. Grrr and Ugh!
your dinner sounds good. Hope you both continue to get better. Prayers for you two.
ReplyDeleteI leave my house sitting job on Lake Michigan tomorrow. I will miss the lake and the two cats but I'm looking forward to seeing my own house and husband and dog. I had a wonderful week, got here last Wednesday. Today it rained and it's windy, but all the other days were 70's maybe higher, 50s at night. Beautiful. Anyway...I guess I should get out of here before the snow, right? :) I am glad you are feeling a little better. Also glad you're getting some help. That alone makes a person feel better.
ReplyDeleteHope you both continue to get better and have good appointments this week. Fall is defnitely in the wind. :)
