Our newest Great grandchild Baby K visits us often. She gained a pound and one ounce in the week after her tongue tied release procedure. She weighs 8 lbs and 3 ounces now..she will be a month old in a few days. She is just a little peanut.
However she has a big voice and has what I call a short fuse. When she is hungry she wants her bottle now if not sooner.
She did not want to burp! She is not an easy kid to burp.
Less upset but still needed to burp!Oh did she smell good after her bath…we could hear her screaming through out her bath…then she slept.
Fun to be a part of her first month.

adorable....you are so blessed with these little ones...
ReplyDeleteShe's still cute as a button. Sounds like she is a handful at times.
ReplyDeleteGlad the surgery worked its magic!!
She is adorable! Thanks for the great pictures, which of course she will not like when she's older.
ReplyDeleteBurping is important. Ada had this problem. She’d upchuck everything if she didn’t burb. I wasn’t too good at getting her to burp. Her throwing up was projectile like when I failed. Ada’s didn’t go away til after she was weaned. I hope little K gets the burping skill down.

ReplyDeleteOh my gosh!!!!!!! How absolutely adorable Baby K is, Connie! She is just so precious! I love babies, can you tell?! I've loved them since I was a little girl. The last baby doll I got was for my 13th birthday. I went on to become an OB nurse & also a foster mom for newborns with Catholic Family Service. I'm going to be 69 years old soon & I'd take a newborn today, if someone would give me one. So these pictures set my heart ablaze, Connie. Thank you for posting them. Please give sweet Baby K a kiss on the top of her head for me. ~Andrea xoxo
ReplyDeleteVery sweet and adorable - even when she is crying! I do miss having any little babies in the family right now. At least close by. One great-nephew has the only current baby, but they live in Atlanta GA.
ReplyDeleteNothing smells as sweet as a newborn after a bath! She is adorable!
ReplyDeleteI would think that medical procedure would make her an unhappy camper.
ReplyDeleteShe is so sweet and adorable! It's so hard to help little ones when they can't talk, but holding them is HEAVEN
ReplyDeleteIt is amazing the sound those little ones can put out isn't it? She is a beautiful baby and I'm so glad the procedure worked for her. She is blessed to be part of your big, beautiful family.
ReplyDeleteBlessings and hugs,
Betsy
My son weighed more than that at birth! She is an adorable little peanut.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweetheart!
ReplyDeleteNew babies are always so cute! I do hope both of you are feeling better, and do recover. I'm sending good vibes to Minnesota!
ReplyDeleteThe squeaky wheel gets the oil! LOL! What a cutie...even when she's crying....you are so blessed to have her in your life. Babies and animals are the best to cheer you up.
ReplyDeleteI just love the smell of a new baby. So glad she is doing well after the little procedure. Our baby boy had his done this past Monday and he is being a little trooper...I think it hurt his momma more than him. Hope you are having a good positive day and that the back is healing so well... Thank you for your many prayers...
ReplyDeleteAww How cute.
