Golden

Some days are more Golden than others.

Isn't she a beauty?  We love her lots!  It was good to see her last week on Thursday night and Friday.  She was so excited she went between Far Guy and I for attention....yes she might be a tad spoiled...but we helped spoil her when she was a pup.

Then back at home what popped up...well the Dandys of course.  I didn't think it was warm enough for them yet.

On our travels Up North last week we saw a bear near Zerkle.  I was not fast enough with my camera to get a photo.

Minnesota Weather: High 67F  or 19C  Low was 43F or 6C...it is supposed to turn cold and rain on Monday.

  2. Hooray for Sadie! She got a gift from God getting to have you both in her presence again for a while. You are like grandparents to her - - the best relationship for kids in the human world - - or at least it was for me. My grands also recognize that Grammy will spoil them with love and their favorite foods - - but also have them keep boundaries of behavior.
We don't immediately mow our dandelions because they say the early pollinators need them. I am sure the neighbors appreciate us. LOL. Also, we don't mow our grass super short like others do because we read it stresses it in the summer heat.

  3. Sadie is so pretty. I have treats for Astrid’s four dogs. When she feeds the horses if I hear hear, I go sit on the porch and they come for a treat. I just give one each nut am tempted to give more. I need to get Cheerios like you do.

    Weeds are hearty little plants.

  5. Cheer up. Your 2 or 3 days of summer will be there before you know it.

  6. It got up to 22C here today. They are forecasting low to be only 15. I've been repotting tomatoes. I'm longing to plant the root crops but the soil just isn't warm enough yet. We have some COLD nights later this week here in E.Ontario

  7. Sadie is beautiful and knows she is loved.
My Monday blog post is up but unfortunately didn't show up in the Blogger news reader.
I mentioned this on my post so that people will be aware of the issues.
I hope you have a lovely week ahead.
