Stash

I made a small baby blanket...perhaps just right for a car seat in the Summertime.

It is the linen stitch using a 3.5 crochet hook.  The yarn Stylecraft Special DK  and I have no idea what the colors are anymore.   I have a bunch of yarn yet to use up.

Far Guy and I took Tilly to town for his Infusion and a blood draw for me.  Our Buick has been in the body shop getting a small dent fixed.  Tilly is now in the repair shop for a diagnosis about her transmission fluid leak.  We are glad to have the Buick back...although Ranger Blue is great transportation!

Minnesota weather: High 77F or 25C  Low was 32F or 0C.   It rained early on Thursday morning.  Thundered enough to wake me up...which is really saying something as I am a sound sleeper!

Whats cooking: Freezer food...Vegetable Soup for me and Jambalaya for Far Guy.  One night we had Moons over my Hammy.

  1. I wish I could knit or crochet. I just don't have it in me. I'd find it relaxing, I think.

  7. Never heard of moons over my hammy, but I know just what it is. Ha

I have lots more scraps to use up too.

Getting your ride back was pleasant after tooling around in an antique!

  8. Sounds like it's warming up at your place, almost to reach 80s. We recently did some diner lingo for homeschool critical thinking puzzles. I wasn't good at figuring them out, but the kids impressively were. I read through the comments to figure out moons over my hammy, sounds yummy.

  9. I think a ride in Tilly would be a treat. I hope the leak is dealt with quickly.
Pretty little blanket - I agree it would be good for summer cover up.

  11. The blanket looks great and will be perfect for an air conditioned car ride in the summer. I've got a linen stitch blanket on the go too. I work on it in between other project, just doing a row or two at a time so far.
We had Casey's gas station pizza for dinner as we had a busy day of errands and my back was spasming like crazy by the time we got home. Their pizza is really good!
    Blessings,
    Betsy
