Sharks and a shoe thief

Jen, Andy, Adam and Courtney are safely in Hawaii they had an adventure yesterday in a shark cage.

Probably not something I would do but Jen said it was not scary at all.

Back at home. Someone is stealing my Crocs so I cannot leave.

She loves us so she is not too lonely. Noah was over to check on the elderly and have some pool time with his dogs and Sadie. Then after supper Far Guy threw her pool ring a few times until she dropped it on the other side of the pool and would not retrieve it…I think she had enough of the pool for the day.

I had more pain yesterday so I had a long rest and then a nice nap. I might have walked too much the previous day. Far Guy woodcarved.

  2. Each day is a mountain to climb. Hawaii—that is a great visit. Thankful for Noah.

  3. That's ok...you tested the waters with walking & found out that Michael's might yet be a bit too much. One day...one day. So glad the travelers reached their destination safely. Yes, I'm sure Sadie is happy as a clam despite some of her family being gone. After all, "Grandma & Grandpa" are babysitting!! *haha* Love, Andrea xoxo

  4. Now that's a smart dog to figure out you can't go anywhere without your Crocs. Hope the pain is better by now.

  5. Having the largest feet in the household, my crocs are forever being borrowed and left elsewhere by others who can't find their crocs. I've been tempted to get a pair that is hideous looking enough they wouldn't want to be photographed in them and then photograph them when I see them wearing them.

  6. It's so hard to over-do when you have a good day. But REST heals lots of stuff so I'm glad you rested.

  7. Nope on the shark tank! It's wonderful to be loved by a dog. She is a smart girl.

  8. (Laughing at Ed's comment)
It is tempting to overdo things when it's something you enjoy or look forward to. Pace yourself!

  10. No, you won't get me in a shark cage either...
Oops, you won't get far on one crock... I hope you find the other one soon.
    Isn't she on top?
Good luck (don't force it too much, mind you) and have a nice week.

  11. Swimming with sharks--oh my!
Sounds like maybe a bit too much walking at Michael's. But getting out and getting yarn...probably feels worth it. Well, worth it if taking it easy for a couple of days makes you feel better again. :)
    Sadie! She's a treasure. :)

  13. Dogs sure do love shoes! Any shoes left in the open are fair game for our Tank. He proudly parades around with them, eventually he gives them back. Without wear and tear.

Just watched a news feature this morning on Ocean Ramsey (the shark whisperer). She is a shark advocate and has a documentary coming/out. It is fascinating to see her swim (cage less) & interact with sharks!!

    Happy dog sitting. Feel better.

  14. No thanks on the shark cage! There would for sure be a freak accident of some kind! Rest and more rest!

  15. I would not be getting anywhere close to sharks even if I was assured I'd be safe in the shark cage. I'd be glad to leave the whole thing to those a lot younger and more adventuresome!

  16. We used to love to vacation in Hawaii but we always went between Thanksgiving and Christmas. We were told by locals that was the least expensive time to go. But you would NEVER catch me swimming with the sharks. No way!
Sadie is such a sweetheart. I know she loves you two so much since you were with her in her beginning days as part of the family.
Take care of yourself and don't overdo. I've got a hitch in my getalong today. My sciatic nerve is dealing me fits for some reason ever since we got home.
    Blessings and hugs,
    Betsy

  18. I would not be swimming with sharks. But I don't like the water.

  19. Swimming with sharks...cool! I always wanted to swim with dolphins too. Sounds like maybe you overdid it at the yarn store? Hopefully you'll feel better tomorrow. It seems that I am pretty productive one day and then the next day not so much. Sadie is quite the girl and she sure loves you!
