In town they have Cardinals at their feeders. I am jealous. I have the usual..Nuthatches, Chickadees, Woodpeckers and some Finches that should be gone by now but are sticking around. I keep hoping for a Cardinal, when we lived at the resort I had one at my feeders one year.
I thought putting up my Cardinal flag might help.
My Christmas mood is non existent today…too much to do in too little time.
10 days and counting..gosh time is just flying by.
Morning, funny that the Cardinals are in town and not at your feeders....I love them but have never seen a real one, none around these parts, boo hoo, Hope you get in the spirit soon, Francine.
ReplyDeleteMy sister has cardinals in her yard occasionally (in Florida) but I've never seen one other than there. They are sure beautiful birds. :-)
ReplyDeleteReally pretty flag with the cardinal... do you know the name brand of it? We could use a new flag this winter.
ReplyDeleteWe occasionally see Cardinals here. Your flag is pretty against the snow.
ReplyDeleteRain and thick clouds here today.
Before I moved (2 weeks ago) I always had cardinals at my feeders. Since I haven't unpacked my feeders yet I haven't seen any - not even in a neighbors yard.
ReplyDeleteI did not realize how fortunate I am until now. Poppy and I have counted as many as 20 cardinals just outside the kitchen window. Your post got me to thinking. I haven't seen as many cardinals this year. Time flies! How did I miss your cookie post??? Enjoy all your posts!
ReplyDeleteYour cardinal flag is beautiful. Surely, some lonely cardinal should come around and visit!
ReplyDeleteYour cardinal flag is so pretty! I had cardinals at one of the places I lived but not here. I miss them so much.
ReplyDeleteI hope you get your Christmas mood back. Maybe listening to Christmas music will help.
We have cardinals and that red looks so great when all you can see is snow white. Love your flag and ever thing will come together for you.
ReplyDeleteYou have heard it many times...it's people that make Christmas. So don't seat all the tuff that just might spoil your Christmas instead of making it happier.
ReplyDeleteHere, we don't even get cardinals in the summer!
I never see cardinals around our home, but they are tons at my mother's. I have the same lassitude right now!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you, I am so jealous of my friends who have tons of cardinals at their feeders. I'd be thrilled with just one!!!! Maybe some day!!!!
ReplyDeleteWe do not have cardinals here. That flash of red must be lovely to see.
ReplyDeleteI have a flock of six brightening yard. I figure they are part of my Christmas decorating scheme. They certainly do brighten up the snow.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen a cardinal - I doubt they get this far to the west.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it will make you feel better that I am jealous of your Nuthatches, Chickadees, Woodpeckers and Finches! ;)
