Finally

I finally managed to get a photo of a Robin in our trees.

 Spring might be here!

We had a busy Sunday...grocery shopping, some cleaning, some laundry and we each had our own projects.

We only have one medical appointment this week...so far.   Practically a vacation!

Our weather was mostly cloudy with a high about 60 F.   Not bad for mid April!

  1. It's so cute. Around here I like to spot the red robin.

  2. I've been seeing robins in the past couple of weeks, but overall our bird population seems kind of low around here. I keep wondering if bird flu is the issue, or if they just aren't hanging around our feeders.

  3. Keeping records of robin turns shows a trend.

  4. I've seen a robin as early as mid-March, but it is generally in April too.
Glad you are getting a short break from the doctor appointments.

  5. I saw a couple wrestling each other in the forsythia bush this morning. Would have made a great picture, but I didn't have a camera with me

  7. How neat for you to keep the record for when the robins first appear. I need to do this with our little hummers. Saw our first one yesterday.

  8. Robins are so hard to photograph. I must admit that I had to look up Phenology. A new word to me 🐦🐦🐦

  9. Oh, how nice to see that robin in the tree. We have sure got plenty of them around here these days. To me, they personify spring.

  11. I saw two of them together yesterday. Dark windy chilly day today. But supposed to be warmer starting tomorrow. Enjoy your days off! :)

  13. I'll have to go back and look to see when we first saw them the past few years!
I've also seen them stay in our valley over winter which was amazing!
