Jen, Andy, Maddie and I baked sugar cookies on Friday after Far Guy's Doctor appointment. BTW his appointment was okay...they are going to try him on a new med to help his breathing but as usual it has to be approved by insurance first.
You say okay big deal...they made sugar cookies. The sugar cookies were for a wedding, the cookies were decorated with a philly cheese/powdered sugar frosting and then strawberries, raspberries and blackberries.
Someone we love very much got married in a very small ceremony on Saturday.
We are back home safely, the roads were good for our return trip.

Wow! Everything looks so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteGreat news hopefully for Far Guy and the cookies look so yummy and beautiful too! Congratulations to the person you love very much!
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of sugar cookies for a wedding (or any other event, really). How many married couples have leftover wedding cake stashed in their freezers? Sugar cookies would never go to waste, at least in my home.
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed the new med is approved and Far Guy sees more improvement.
Thankful for new meds that may help FG. Insurance rules us now days. The cookies are so pretty and what a very special way to honor a couple by helping make their special day awesome.. These cookies look YUMMY
ReplyDeleteI hope he gets approved for the new meds and they work well!

ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the newly married whoever they may be.
ReplyDeleteThe sugar cookies look amazing💗.
Beautiful cookies! My youngest daughter's first wedding anniversary was this week. The only guests at their wedding were parents, siblings, sibling spouses, nieces, nephews, his deceased father's brother (uncle) and my daughter's children. His best friend performed the ceremony. It was one of the most beautiful weddings I have attended. But we did not have cookies.
ReplyDeleteHome safe!
ReplyDeleteLove the cookies you made! Congratulations to the lucky couple. Glad all went well and you traveled safely too. diane in northern wis
