Puzzling

My latest puzzle was only 300 pieces and the pieces were larger.

However it made me feel like Spring!

I did not like how my one crochet project was going so I frogged it (ripped it apart) and began again.

Yesterday I made it to the grocery store, gas station, car wash and made supper (Philly Cheese Burgers, Steak Fries and Coleslaw)...the menfolk all passed on the coleslaw but they did eat carrot sticks.

My pain is still there...it might be a little bit better...I am hopeful that I will see an improvement soon.

  1. The puzzle is more my speed—300 pieces and I like the look. I learned a new term with frogged. I am a pretty good frog as I have frogged a lot.

  2. That's a great puzzle! It looks like a Thomas Kincaide? Philly Cheese Burgers sound delicious. I've never had one, but it sounds good. I sure hope your pain gets better soon. You got a lot done in spite of the pain though. Prayers always.
    Blessings and love,

  3. Beautiful puzzle. I like to do a 300 piece puzzle once in a while. Mostly I do 500 piece ones. I have 1000 piece ones. I look at them and sigh. I will only do one of them if I am desperate for a distraction. Continuing to keep you in my thoughts and hoping the shot takes effect soon.

  6. You do manage to get yourself out and about, which is an amazing thing considering your pain. I'm more of a wimp. No coleslaw for them, unheard of!

  7. I've been working on a puzzle the past few evenings too. I've reached that difficult spot where there isn't enough color differences. Hope that pain just keeps on diminishing.

  8. What an accomplishment! Do you do puzzles often? I don't seem to have the right way of thinking to put them together. I just stare and stare. I do love to knit and do a bit of crochet as well. Have a lovely week ending!

  9. I like the puzzle! I was lent another 1000 piece to do, and I'm struggling with it. It is definitely not an easy but I've got a couple of weeks to work on it.
I do hope the pain is decreasing, good luck.

Colorful flowers always make me think spring, too. Pretty puzzle. :)

  13. I'm going through some rough times these past months and when I'm tempted to feel sorry for myself I think of you and others who have it worse. We're working on a 500 piece puzzle now. No more 1000 piece ones for us.
