I was in a pink mood in Hobby Lobby, it was the only shade of yarn that spoke to me.
Colors of Strawberry Daze and Magenta to add to the stash.
I also bought some new flowers to put out before Memorial Day.
Far Guy's infusion went well, I did a grocery pickup at Walmart and then stopped by Hobby Lobby and Kohls...missions accomplished!
It got above zero!!!!!
Far Side
I should have done a pick up at Aldi's or Walmart yesterday, I went in grabbed 2 things and left in a hurry. Busy.
ReplyDeleteGlad you got out and back safely. I guess they clean roads there. They do some here but not that much. I’m going to the library and store today. It’s my first trip out since Saturday when Laura and I walked. It’s still horribly cold.
ReplyDeleteYou must be craving Spring by choosing those pretty pinks. I love going to Hobby Lobby!
ReplyDeleteThese colors are so pretty...excited to see what you do with them. Thankful that the infusion went well and that all is good. Those three stores are some of my favorites. I admire you all for being able to endure the cold temps. These teens we are having are way too cold for me, so I can't image being below zero. Have a good one today...
ReplyDeleteYou got a lot accomplished on your above zero pink day!
ReplyDeleteGlad everything went well with far Guy's infusion. You were really busy with shopping. Excellent news that the temperature got above zero. Hope you and Far Guy have a great day. Give Sadie a few love strokes from me.
ReplyDeleteThe "pink mood" attacked me too! So I went with it and got a pale pink and then one that resembles the pink on the left in your photo. Hoping it gives me a feeling that Spring is in the air...real soon!!! I've had enough of the double digits below zero temps.
ReplyDeleteGoodnight Gram
That yarn looks so soft!
ReplyDeleteYes, above zero! Going to warm up and melt for a bit here soon. :)
Today will be our errand day! In addition to a couple of other stops - - one being frozen yogurt at the locally owned shop - - we will go to three grocery stores - - for just a few things. Food Lion generally has enough eggs in stock by Eggslands Best. Aldi's has great prices on frozen vegetables and produce. Publix has the Boarshead deli meat we like and usually enough Canyon Hawaiian Bread. I will start baking mine again in a couple of weeks after I get my new eyeglass prescription and the second eye is completely healed from both cataract surgeries. So far, so great!!!
ReplyDeleteI was at Hobby Lobby yesterday with Piper too but I didn't let myself buy yarn even though it's on sale this week. I did buy a St. Patrick's decoration for 40% off and Piper bought some yummy Kona Coffee essential oil. We put some in my diffuser when we got home and I think I'm just going to have to get some for myself. :-) It smelled so good.
ReplyDeleteOur warm up is supposed to start later today. Hallelujah!
Blessings and hugs,
Betsy
Sounds like a good day all 'round! Love the colors of the yarn. The news that it is warming up there is great too.
ReplyDeleteWe are currently 19F! That is really pretty yarn.
ReplyDeleteI'm told you can never have too much stash!
ReplyDeleteMy girls talk about Dirty Pink ( they love it). Strawberry Daze is a much nicer name than Dirty Pink which google tells me is 'rose-colored hue with an attitude'.
ReplyDeleteNice colours
