Spirit

The Christmas Spirit is leaving the neighborhood, those that hired their decorations done have been de decorated.  Funny thing one side of the street was mostly decorated and the other side was not.  Interesting.

Jen decorated very nicely near the front door...very cheerful!

Three medical appointments this week, leading up to five next week.  Usually we are organized and the right hand knows what the left hand is doing...we are both scheduled for appointments at the same time one day next week...good thing they are in the same town.

I saw my Rheumatologist yesterday, he has run out of options for me...so he is referring me to the pain clinic.  Not sure what they will do.   My sudden rise in skin cancers is most likely the side effect of the RA meds that did not work for me.  My RA Factor has doubled and my Ferritin level is very high...not sure what will be done about that either.

Sometimes no plan is a plan.

  1. You will be doctored up after this week. Pain doctor sounds like arthritis doctor is giving up. I don’t like that.

  4. So sorry to hear your news ... but am interested in what the no plan plan may be.
It has to be super frustrating.

  5. This is not what we all hoped to read. Onward to pain management. Hopefully there will be some relief for you.

  6. Sorry to hear that your doc has run out of options. I hope the pain clinic can find some relief for you. As your tag read, it sounds like a pain in the butt!

  7. Jenn is a very skilled decorator. The porch looks so pretty. We've got tons of appointments this month too. I had put everything off until January when I had medicare, so it seems now all I do is run from one appointment to another. I sure hope the pain clinic can help you. That's where I go for my back issues now. We'll see what they say on Monday from the MRI.
    Blessings,
    Betsy

  8. My neighbor next door has beautiful Blue Christmas lights and as of last night, they were still burning. Hopefully the pain specialist will be able to do something great for you. Sam and I both had appointments this week...My results were good, and Sam's not so good. More insulin for him. Prayers continue for you both as health issues are not good...Blessings.

Sorry to hear you're being sent to the pain clinic. Maybe they can help. Who knows? Yes, sometimes no plan is the plan.

  11. Big surprise to me that you can have somebody decorate their house for money!

  12. Barb took everything down the day after Christmas, has for years. I think it is acceptable to leave them up for a few weeks after if one chooses.

Hopefully the pain clinic will have some helpful ideas.

  14. All undecorated here as of today. Jake came over to help take the lights down and stuff everything back into the attic.
Your medical issues are so complicated. It's not good to be complicated. Atypical, as I often am, is hard enough.

  19. Somehow I missed reading this. The front porch looks beautiful - - so welcoming but probably too cold to enjoy it as much as a person would like?
I sure hate to hear your medical update. I know you don't want to go through more skin cancer removals and you are for sure so weary of dealing with the pain. My guess is there are no other options for medical opinions because it seems you have searched out the best. You are still too young to deal with all this.

  20. Sorry you have had a rise in skin cancers...as if the pain you are dealing with isn't enough.
