Not much new here.
I ran an errand for Far Guy...he needed some stuff... the store he sent me to had yarn for sale...more yarn may have been purchased for yet another project. I am not doing very good on my word for the year ...focus.
Colorful artwork at the shop in Grand Forks.
We have one more day (Friday) of decent weather then our neighbors to the North are opening the deep freeze again:) We have nothing planned for the weekend other than staying inside where it is warm!
Far Side
Ha ha ha! You had me laughing about the yarn. Focus! Ha! Oh my.
ReplyDeleteYarn on sale is very enticing. I’d go for it. The cold is coming south of you. Oh, woe is me. But the good news is no snow with it or just a bit. And it’s a shorter storm. In the winter, I tend to hibernate.
ReplyDeletevery pretty and spring-like paintings...we've a 2-day break in frigid until it returns with a vengeance monday...like single digits...brrr...thankful no appointments all week
ReplyDeleteIt sure is hard to resist a Sale. I know you have something great in mind for the yarn you purchased. We've been watching the weather and it sure looks like we are all facing some freezing temps. Wrap up...stay warm...
ReplyDeleteIt will be cold here, too, but nothing like what you have.
ReplyDeleteWe are supposed to drop into a deep freeze too. Well, it is winter.
ReplyDeleteI doubt I'll go out and about, there is no need to and I don't feel like it.
The Artic Blast looks like it will last until Tuesday here.
Stay warm...need yarn! Yes!
It will be a stay inside and stay warm weekend for us too!
ReplyDeleteI think hunkering down and staying warm is the perfect plan for the weekend. We plan to go to Brookings tomorrow for Jackrabbit double header games. We will make sure our extra winter gear is in the truck for that drive as we expect that deep freeze too.
ReplyDeleteI love the color in the art! Really nice. It's going to be frigid for awhile. Good time to stay inside.
ReplyDeleteSorry about the coming deep freeze, even though I live a long distance south of you.
ReplyDeleteWhere I live is going to be hit by the deep freeze, and I have plans for Monday and Tuesday. At least those plans are indoors. Hope it isn't as bad as weatherpeople say it's going to be.
ReplyDeleteYou will need that yarn to have something to do while you are hibernating against the cold--lol!
ReplyDeleteLove that very colorful art! Stay warm!! :)
It might get down to freezing here this weekend. :-)
ReplyDeleteThose paintings would brighten a cold dark day.
Very nice artwork
ReplyDeleteYou didn't get the cold stuff from here but hang on for a couple of days and you will feel pain.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking I better move the geraniums on the enclosed porch away from the window. Maybe even bring them in for the night. Keep safe and warm.
ReplyDeleteYep, we're getting ready for the awful cold weather too. Looks like it's going to last for quite a long time. Yuck. Stay warm and toasty you guys!
ReplyDeleteStaying home would be a very sensible idea. The colorful artwork is certainly a bright spot.
ReplyDeleteWho can resist yarn, especially yarn on sale?
I'm late online. It's almost 11:00 pm and I just took Zoey outside for her bedtime visit to the outdoors. I haven't been out since 4:30 when I got home from Mom's and it was 46F. It's 12F and windy, windy, windy out now. Brrrrr. So cold and it's just beginning.
ReplyDeleteAnd of course you had to buy yarn. All of the yarn I have and yet I never have what I need when I start a project.
Blessings and hugs,
Betsy
I call that trip God-orchestrated! You know you will be buying more yarn in the future so HE led you to where it was on sale!
ReplyDeleteLD. They built a Hobby Lobby in our town during the time we lived at the hospital for ten months. I am going to get Della there in a couple of weeks. Five miles away and I think she can walk it now.
