Quiet Sunday

It was bitterly cold outside.  We have extreme windchills forecast through Tuesday afternoon.  We are staying indoors until Tuesday afternoon when we have to venture out for Far Guy's medical appointments...he has three on Tuesday afternoon, all in town thankfully.

We finished a puzzle and Far Guy did some woodcarving and some painting.
He has some Purple Coneflowers in progress.

Hope everyone stays warm during the cold spell.

  1. Dang. It is cold cold bitter cold here too. But the sun shone yesterday and the animals all napped in the sun out of the wind. My equine amaze me.
I am not amused by the bitter cold. I feel like a caged tiger.

Hope the appointments go well for FG.

  5. It's -16C here and set to be like this all week. We are headed out tonight to get some salt. We had a brief warm up on the weekend and now everything is icy!
Otherwise it will be a stay-in-all-week week for us!

  6. Hey, the puzzle has Sadie in it! :)
While it's not cold here today, we're expecting high winds so I'll be finding things to do indoors too.

  9. I don't plan to go outside today except to take Zoey out. I sure miss our fenced yard right now. It's -19F feels like right now and supposed to get colder as the day goes on.
Love, love that puzzle. I have a definite weakness for the old farmtruck things. Add golden retrievers and I'm done for! :-)
    Blessings and hugs,

  14. The coneflower already looks lovely!!! I like that puzzle. It doesn't have a lot of solid colour areas which can be rather boring.
