Puzzling and a few movies

This puzzle was hard.  Never again will I buy a puzzle with so many dark pieces...it was a struggle...but it is finally done.

The next puzzle has flowers and a couple of dogs...maybe it will feel like Spring instead of Winter.

It snowed here yesterday a couple of inches.

This week I watched three good movies.  A Dog's Purpose, Carryon, and Jerry and Marge Go Large ( a true story).  All great movies and well worth the watch.

Presently my crochet project has a few glitches to work out, so it is still in process.

  1. That puzzle is 2/3s the same hue of brown. When the snow melts I may get a puzzle and try again. Maybe 350 pieces. I will look for the movie.

  5. oh...I can see how this puzzle would be hard. But hey, you got it done and and it turned out so pretty. My crocheting always has glitches...really wish I could learn to do this. Cold here, but no snow....Stay warm and cozy.

  10. I would avoid the puzzle too...that's a lot of dark pieces.
This unit has cable tv and I haven't found a movie channel yet.

  13. I must jot down those movies.
I can see why that puzzle was difficult. We're working on a hard one now and with my eyes getting worse I'm tempted to give up ( on the puzzle. Not life. :)))

  14. I have learned to look for bright colors and lots of things in a picture. I did one of the inside of a country store that was perfect...a dog, a cat, shelves of things to buy, a car by the open door. Still wasn't easy.

  15. Well done for sticking with the jigsaw. I started a lovely scenic lake but it had so much grey/green forest I gave up.

  16. Some of these puzzles are so hard that they're not fun to do.

  17. That does look like a really hard puzzle. I'm ready for spring so flowers would be nice. We had flurries all the way to church this morning but they didn't add up to anything.
    Take care.
    Blessings and hugs,
    Betsy

  18. I am not good with real dark pieces either! I don't know if you have seen quilts that use black as the background...usually with bright colors otherwise. They make stunning quilts but I just cannot stand to sew, be it clothing or quilt tops, using black fabric.

  19. I finished mine early this morning. Yes, the dark pieces were the last to figure out, but at least there were lots of other easier colors on mine.
