Andy and Tilly

Our son in law Andy took Far Guy's Desoto to the local car show on Saturday morning.  Far Guy did not feel good enough to attend.  However we are happy that Andy could go and show Tilly off!

Photo by fellow blogger and neighbor Leah!

Andy reports that many people stopped to talk with him!  Some people he knew from Robotics too!

We enjoyed seeing them all...Andy, Jen and Sadie.  Jen helped me do some of the hard housework...vacuuming, cleaning the tub and scrubbing the bathroom floor and helping me change the sheets on the bed.  So wonderful to have helping hands!

It was a nice day in Minnesota the high was 79 F or 27C and the low 59F or 15C eh!

We sat outside part of the afternoon visiting with Cousin's Bonnie and Wayne and in the evening with my other baby brother and she who sees robins first.

  1. No sitting out here. The mosquitoes will carry you off.

  2. So glad you had company. I’m hoping FG has more drives in Tilley soon. Zipping down the hiway with the window down and a good breeze coming his way is my wish.

Your weather is the bomb.its 100 in AR and everything is shades of brown.

  3. Good job, Andy! So sorry Far guy couldn't go. I hope he's feeling better. Those chores are the same ones I have trouble with but the cleaning gal I have now goes above and beyond. So, I am grateful for her. She's not free though! LOL! You have a wonderful family.

  9. That was good of him to take her out! Those old cars need to be driven or they just rot!

  10. How tall is Andy? Tilly is shorter in height than I thought. Or maybe it is camera perspective. She just seemed taller in FG's pictures.
So thankful for a good day for everyone - - Andy's visits with friends and your time with Jen and Sadie as one of them helped in the house while the other kept good company for everyone - - especially FG who was not feeling well. Being sick is no fun for anyone especially when it doesn't seem to improve as often as would be encouraging to the patient.

  17. It's great you got to see family AND you got some stuff done at home too! It's still in the 90s here, could you send us some of that 70s? It was 80 when I woke up at 6 this morning.

  18. Thanks for visiting today. Shug is a gem, and her post was thoughtful and caring asking her blog friends why Sundays are special for us. Sunday is my favorite day of the week. So much peace exudes from Sundays. The Lord's day of rest is a beautiful thing.
