About seven inches of it.
Sadie barks at these deer.
The snowman family all sit on five gallon buckets and they are partially covered. The main roads are petty good however the side streets and some parking lots are still a challenge.
I picked up our grocery order from Walmart and went to Aldi while Far Guy had his weekly Infusion then we went out for a late lunch early supper at Perkins. Breakfast is good anytime of day!
In the evening Jen and I went to the library for the puzzle exchange:)
Minnesota weather; High 13F or -11C Low was -7F or -22C eh! Forecast for Friday is a Winter Weather Advisory because it may snow a bit more and it will become very windy.
Far Side
Ufffdah. Awful weather. However, it may be a white Christmas?
ReplyDeleteWe just had a Cold Weather Advisory which sounds serious enough for me to stay indoors except for chores over the weekend!
Oh my...that's a bit of snow...it's pretty but you can keep it...lolol
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend!
Donna
The snow is gorgeous just like a Christmas card. Be careful driving the streets. I guess they clean them up your way.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the Aldi tips. I’ll post how my first shopping goes later. I’ll let the new wear off before I venture there.,
The snow looks so pretty when it is fresh. It's nice to see it from the comfort of my computer!
ReplyDeleteThat puzzle exchange at the library is just the BEST idea! All that fresh snow makes the world look so clean. We got freezing rain and then about an inch of new snow yesterday. More expected tonight and tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure which I'd prefer, the cold we're experiencing or the snow you received. To be honest, I'd rather have neither.
ReplyDeleteOh, a puzzle exchange, now you'll have new ones to challenge you and Far Guy.
I awoke to new snow this morning. We have about an inch covering the ground. I think the only time we have had 7 inches was the year of the blizzard. We have had only one blizzard in my lifetime....80 plus years. Our children were still in school which would have made the blizzard in the 70s. The puzzle exchange at the library is a good idea. I have lots of puzzles sitting around that I will never do again.
ReplyDeleteWe are in for a cold weekend. I hope you can hunker down.
ReplyDeleteClever to elevate the snowmen on the buckets! I think it’s going to be a brown Christmas here as the snow that fell has melted.
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful, but I sure wouldn't want to be out in that!
ReplyDeleteReally cold, snowy. and windy! I hope you can stay inside.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like the snow season had officially begun for you there in Minnisnowda. We are gong to get hit with another atmospheric river, and more flooding misery for many folks.
ReplyDeleteStay warm and cozy. Enjoy those puzzles.
ReplyDeleteThat's about how we are looking right now - it's very festive!
ReplyDeleteLD.....The neighbor took down all of his inflatibles as he had hundreds of dollars invested in them. Our wind was forecast soon enough for him to get them put away. It seems to cold now to put them back out.
