Last week in August

Seems like Summer will be over after this week.  Our weather sure feels like Fall.

We went out for lunch/supper to our favorite place to eat in the Summer, their hours are reduced now as their College help has gone back to school.  We like their open air patio....and the chips, salsa, the half strength margarita I order and the enchiladas.  Even Far Guy had an enchilada and it tasted good to him.

Their pots of begonias were blooming nicely.

We have a number of appointments this week...five to be exact.

Minnesota weather: High 64F or 18C Low was 41F or 5C eh! However the sun was out!  There was no wildfire smoke either...almost a perfect day.

  3. Great to hear FG had an enchilada to "fatten" him up a little. Cool weather sounds good tome, as we deal with low eighties.

  7. Fall is definitely in the air. We reached a low of 2C/36F the other night. We're on an upswing this week with warmer temps expected.
Your meal at the restaurant sounds wonderful, and great news that Far Guy was able to partake and enjoy it too.
Good luck with all the appointments.

  8. The weather has been fantastic here. I hope it hangs on for a while. I love fall -but I'm not ready for anything remotely winter-like!

  9. I'm soooo happy the weather has changed. I started trimming the over-tall bushes at the end of the house. So tall there was no chance of seeing anything past them. I'd really like an enchilada.

  14. Good news that FG is eating a bit more.
It's noon here on the Monday, the temp is 78, heading for 87. We have a few more days near 90 before it cools down to 80. We are looking forward to highs of 75 for the weekend. The annual Phosie Gertie is coming up.
