Happy Halloween!

We are ready with a plastic pumpkin full of candy.  We may get five trick or treaters this year...maybe.  All the kids are getting older.

Here a a few photos of the good old days.

Chance hated the Halloween hat...he tolerated the scarf but that hat not so much.

In 2013 Chance could not figure out why his best friends looked funny.

All the kids in the photos have either graduated from high school or will graduate this year and next year.

Those were the days. Happy Halloween!

  1. Awe..... Chance was being a trooper wearing the hat for the picture. It is fun looking back of our kids enjoying Trick R' Treat. Our grandkids are older too, but now we have the 3 great grandkids. Be safe and don't let the spooks scare you...

  4. I love the photos of Chance. He was a sweetie. We won't have any trick or treaters either since our building is a secured one.

  5. 2013 doesn't seem that long ago. But you have the proof in the photo.

  6. I love the pictures of Chance and the kids. We have mostly great memories of Halloween - and I always had fun dressing up too. Teaching in a HS, the kids got a kick out of us teachers being in costume.

  10. So cute. I miss the days when our neighborhood, including my own kids, were trick or treating. The families we have now take their kids to "better" neighborhoods to get bigger hauls.

  12. With no little kids anymore and no trick-or-treaters coming along our street, we are missing the fun too. That's why I still carve my own Jack-o-lantern.
    Happy Halloween!
