We saw the first Robin in our yard yesterday afternoon... no camera. In the evening I finally got a photo of the Robin sitting high in a tree.
Everyone has had Robins in their yards before us this year. So glad we finally saw one!
Spring might be here.
Far Guy still has a cough and is short of breath. Yes, some of it could be Spring allergy related as he often gets sick in the Spring/early Summer. He takes allergy medication. Bottom line is he is still struggling.
I am exhausted so we make quite the pair.
Far Side
I sure hope you both feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are both feeling better soon. Sending love and prayers your way.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear that neither of you is feeling good or full of energy. It's exhausting to be sick.
ReplyDeleteI saw my first robin last week, and we have a pair that seems to be nesting nearby. They are often in the back yard. Looking ahead, we only have one night of freezing weather for the next two weeks. I think I can safely say, spring is here.
ReplyDeleteI do hope both you and Far Guy are feeling better soon. Time for lots of rest!
I just saw my first Robin the other day. I don't think they hang around here. I think we are just on the flight path North. Yes, aging is not for the faint of heart! God Bless you both.
ReplyDeleteI have not yet seen a Robin although I'm sure they are here. I'm so sorry for you both. Both of you get some rest.
ReplyDeleteIt just isn't spring until the robins come!
ReplyDeleteI have not seen a robin yet but I heard one 2 weeks ago.
ReplyDeleteWe have tons of robins around here and they've been here for awhile. But then, we had a very mild winter. I have seen my first tick crawling up my arm! Yuck.
ReplyDeleteStill praying for both of you to turn the corner(s).
Blessings,
Betsy
It's always such a treat to see the first birds of the season. Still no hummingbirds here, but others have had them
ReplyDeleteSending you both lots of good healing vibes. May this robin be the harbinger of good health for you both!
ReplyDeleteHopefully both of you will feel better soon. Maybe seeing that Robin is a good omen :)
ReplyDeleteNice
ReplyDeleteI read there was a very high pollen count.
ReplyDeleteLooks like the buds are swelling on that tree where hopefully the robins are singing, "Cheer up, cheer up!"
ReplyDeleteI love watching the robins. I’m having trouble with crows trying to eat all my suet from the feeders.
ReplyDeletePraying you both feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteMy allergies have been bad recently since it warmed up and the wind has been awful. I heard it's been bad for people with hayfever this spring. I hope you both feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteFunny thing... I don't think our robins leave over the winter. At least not all of them. I've been hearing them a lot lately... must be mating time!!
ReplyDeleteGod bless you, dear pair! Both of you...feel much better soon.
ReplyDeleteI have two nests 🪺 going on under my deck. They will make a mess but the more robins the merrier. Larry
ReplyDeleteI finally saw a Robin here but I don't think they stay here...they are just passing through to go to your house. I am exhausted too. I think it may be the season and getting acclimated to it.
