I frogged ( term for ripping out yarn) part of Winter Wonderland that I was not pleased with.
Before...
After...
I like it much better!
Each section is a different pattern. I cannot see myself finishing this project anytime soon as I have other projects that are calling my name.
Far Side
I thought it looked just fine, but then I can see the colors work much better with the rest when I saw the newly done section. It's all amazing to me. :)
ReplyDeleteWell it is soon to be spring and indoor projects will get set aside for a while!
ReplyDeleteI liked both versions! What an intricate pattern. Whew.
It is such a pretty set of patterns. Dennis never understands why I frog things, unless it has a glaring mistake. I can't stand it if it isn't done right or look how I had hoped. Looking forward to seeing those other projects that are calling for you.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
I like both versions! Sometimes we just MUST make the change.
ReplyDeleteI liked the old version but the new one is lovely too. The important thing is that you like it!
ReplyDeleteI like both but I like the new version better. It seems to meld with the rest.
ReplyDeleteIt's important that you are satisfied with how the project is turning out. I liked both the before and after, but that was just me. As usual, your work is so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThe color does blend better in the new version. The main thing is that is has to please YOU.
ReplyDeleteI also like both the before and after but it's best if you do it so you're happy with the end result.
ReplyDeleteI love your Winter Wonderland!
ReplyDeleteI like both!
ReplyDeleteI think it's totally okay to have several projects going on at once - It's how I roll!! 🥰
ReplyDeleteSometimes frogging it is the best option, even if it's a shame to have to re-do a large chunk, or - as it is in some cases - a whole project. I hate when I have to frog anything. Tinking is frustrating too, but at least there's less to redo if you only have to tink and not frog a project. Anyway, glad you're happier with it this time around.
ReplyDeleteI would never rip anything back hahahahahahahahahaha ;-D
ReplyDeleteI have done more backtracking than I use to in projects. I find if it isn't solved don't move on and wait a day to clear my head. My wainscoting job was a tougher one than it appeared but it was really worth it. I am sure my oldest son will find something wrong with it but that is what he does for everybody. I am feeling old tonight and you know why. I lost a college friend and didn't know it until I check his name on the net for his address. It jolted me to see his obit jump out at me and he has been gone three years.
