Today our oldest daughter Trica is 50. Hard to believe that she is that old.
I believe this photo was taken in 2006. Savannah, Trica, Paige, My Dad and Maddie.
Maddie's birthday was yesterday! Maddie was 24 years old. We visited her via facetime, she likes her new job. Fun to get caught up with her.
Maddie and Chance...2008 I think. The walking stick she is holding is a Diamond Willow Branch that Far Guy debarked and made into a walking stick...one for each of our Grands....he uses a wood burning tool to engrave their names on the walking sticks.

Wonderful pictures. It was so good to see a new one of Chance. Happy birthdays! :-)
ReplyDeleteTricia is beautiful! It's crazy how quickly our kids and grandkids have grown.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed seeing the photos of the family. Isn't it fun to look back and see how much everyone has grown and changed? Chance is so beautiful and happy to be with Maddie.
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to both of the birthday girls.
Blessings and hugs,
Betsy
The walking sticks are a wonderful treasure! My mom's neighbor had a beautiful diamond willow walking stick and a diamond willow chair. Both were made by family members for her. That wood is so gorgeous! Happy birthday to your daughter and granddaughter.
ReplyDeleteKind of hits you when your kids turn 50!
ReplyDeleteWonderful memories to go with the photos. Happy Birthday to Maddie.
ReplyDeleteMy oldest will be 48 this year. We are of the same generation. My oldest grand is 22. With my surprise Grand Ada, I have one only 3. We also are similar that we both have 2 daughters. Erin will be 43 this year. We have lots of things in common, I notice.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to Tricia and Maddie. I love the idea of individualized walking sticks.

ReplyDeletePhotos are a treasure! I can see some family resemblance :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Trica and Maddie! My oldest son turns 50 later this year. He thinks it makes him feel old. I say it makes me feel old! It's very special that Far Guy made a special walking stick for each grand! It's good to see Trica. I hope she is doing well.
