April say it isn't SNOW

Yes it snowed yesterday, about 6 plus inches then it snowed some more then rained and snowed again.  The weather is so mixed up it doesn't know what it is doing.

The Oxygen Driver got stuck in the driveway so I got out Ranger Blue and gave him and the oxygen supplies a lift...he had to shovel to get himself un stuck.

I shoveled the walk...that was enough for my bum thumb.

I sorted through a bunch of clothing in the bedroom.  My baby brother, his bride and Baxter visited in the afternoon....they were out for a ride.  We had a nap and I stared watching the second season of Bridgerton.

Today Far Guy has a Doctors appointment and If I skip breakfast I can have my lab work done at the same time.  We will have to see how much it snowed during the night.

The new bed is the best thing...like sleeping on a cloud.  I slept straight through for 6 1/2 hours...that is a long sleep for me.

  1. Glad the new bed is working out for you and you are sleeping better. Maybe that is what I need - a new mattress. No snow here; just rain/ rain/ rain and more rain. Good luck with the lab work.

  2. Wow! Good thing you have the Ranger! I've had to get those supply guys out of some tricky situations too.
That snow! Wow! Hope it begins to melt soon. Looks like winter isn't giving up on your place in the woods!

  4. Whoa Nellie! It is a crazy season...and it's been a crazy winter and spring here. I hope you make it out of your driveway. I go get my booster today so I'll be sleeping a lot too. What brand of bed is it? It sounds like a great endorsement!

  5. It's crazy how much snow you're still getting. Dennis's uncle in Coon Rapids was telling us yesterday that it was snowing there too. The weather seems very confused.
I will pray for your trip to the doctor today, for safety on the roads.
What kind of bed did you get? You seem so happy about it.
    Blessings and hugs,
    Betsy

  6. Goodness gracious, that's a lot of snow. I hope you're able to get out for your appointments today.

Sleeping 6 1/2 hours straight through sounds like heaven to me too.

  7. Missed us in Fargo...so far. Could still be coming, I hear.
I bet the driver was glad to see you!
Sounds like you are doing an awful lot with that hand.
I hope you have a safe trip and you get your bloodwork done, too. :)

  8. Are you going to share with your readers what kind of bed/mattress you purchased? We got a new one a few years from a local manufacturer and it made all the difference in the world for us. However I need to replace another bed and would be interested to know.
As we say in the south - - - Bless your heart with that snow! My sister is near Augusta, GA. They had tornadoes go through the vicinity last evening. Very thankful she was spared. Her home had already been replaced about twenty years ago due to a fire - - - caused by squirrels feasting on the wiring.

  9. Spring snow is heavy with moisture and it’s easy to get stuck. I’m glad you had Ranger Blue to help to oxygen guy complete his delivery.

  10. We got some snow but it became rain and stayed that way. Today it's overcast, windy and supposed to rain. A good mattress is a valuable thing!

  15. Winter isn't done with us in New York State, either, but we aren't getting this type of snow. Although, we have had snow like this into mid-April some years. Happy you are getting good sleep now. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com

  18. Oh the snow needs to just stop! I think we are done with it down here...maybe. We had some day before yesterday. Yesterday was beautiful. Now it's cold and rainy and windy. But they say next week will be warm if we can just get through the rest of this week and weekend filled with rain and cold. Opening day for the Tigers is Friday, with chilly rain. Of course.

  19. Snow then rain followed by more snow sounds like quite a mess. I hope you got out safely to your appointments.

  22. Your pictures are gorgeous even though it IS time for Spring! I can see why the man got stuck in your driveway. I made a note on my calendar that at this time last year, almost all the ice was off our lake. Not this year....no way. Winter is going to hang on for a while yet. We have to drive way down to Madison on Friday for a funeral....praying for decent roads. Take good care you two!

  24. That doesn't sound fun for the oxygen delivery guy. Hope he didn't spend too much of his day getting stuck in snow.
