We have had snow since October 28th. Just incase anyone was curious..that was 165 days ago.
Here is the snowbank I named June.
It was –3 F yesterday morning that is –19 C eh, unbelievable for April.
What is happening besides below zero temperatures and no snow melt?
I am still winter/spring cleaning in the kitchen, I have one drawer (the silverware drawer) left to clean and two cupboards and then the open cupboards that catch dust. About half of the cabinets have been cleaned on the outside too. I should do the stove top and the oven too that will take part of a day….so in three days I might be done. The laundry/furnace room might be next on my list.
We are working on the Christmas Ornament prototype…we have been “communicating” with each other about it.
We had the neighbors over for the card game Golf one night they are having a bit of Cabin Fever also.
We watched The Frozen Four and cheered when University of Minnesota Duluth won! It was a great game! Hockey is over now…at least College Hockey is.
I am really wondering if Spring will ever arrive. Some of us think it has come and gone as we had a few warm days in March. Woke up this morning to it snowing and 22 degrees. Hang in there. You are always welcome to come and spring clean my house when you finish yours. Haha
ReplyDeleteIn November or October, I run outside to enjoy the first snowfall. In April I stare out the window and wonder when IT will stop! We don't have your snow at all, but it is snowing again.
ReplyDeleteOur weather is supposed to change drastically by this weekend. 50's & 60's with Thunderstorms!
Ugh on the snow! I do love your new header photo. I have been cleaning/organizing/throwing away from my kitchen cabinets, too. The older I get, the less I need! lol John watched the Masters Gold tourn. from Augusta GA yesterday. Spring is in full force there.
ReplyDeleteI also love your new header, but gosh it's not right for the snow still to be coming down AND being so cold. Congratulations on getting that spring cleaning almost done! :-)
ReplyDeleteWe are going to have late spring weather. I hope it is a gangbuster of a show as we have paid our dues. The cold doesn’t trump your 13 inches of snow, but the cold is driving me crazy. I actually have green grass that was filled up with snow again last night.
ReplyDeleteHey we get spring today. It's going up to plus 6 . It's the first above zero for months. I'll be sending this your way!
ReplyDeleteSigh! I think I would slowly go insane!
ReplyDeleteBless you for so much snow for so long. I like your header - if you can't fight 'em join 'em! Actually maybe a snow header will bring a long awaited spring! I have given up on spring here in Missouri. We had snow Easter and snow again yesterday and we have been breaking temperature record lows like crazy. Congratulations on all your spring cleaning. It is a good feeling to get those things done. What is your secret for the energy to do so much? I have such a hard time starting big cleaning projects!
ReplyDeleteOh man that's cold BRR even we here in southwestern Ontario Canada aren't that cold we have been averaging about +6 or 42F but we are going up to 14C or 57F by the end of the week with rain . I do hope spring shows up there soon . At least your able to keep busy with things even if it is spring /winter cleaning .
ReplyDeleteEndless winter! I talked to my parents in S. Dakota and they also got snowstorms twice last week. Our mountains are still getting snow too.
ReplyDeleteYou sure have had a long winter, hoping it will change soon.
ReplyDeleteDamn that is a lot of snow days
ReplyDeleteYou keep getting snow, while we keep getting rain. You would most likely prefer rain and 50 degrees by now, but like your snow, we are tired of it.
ReplyDeleteSpring is coming but even here it has not been pretty....very few days of sunshine all winter and even now it is gloomy out. It is warm but I don't look forward to the heat. You have had quite the winter and unfortunately i hear more is coming your way!
